I ate yam last feb this year,it is xo pretty expensive, plantain 3 small miserable looking pieces is now 1k.

My Son brought back 4k Plantain I asked him to buy on his way back from work and I almost screamed "Agbadoooooooo! when I saw the rubbish.

We are really in serious trouble in this country. People are suffering.

There are many aboki selling in benin
Buy 1 basket and make sure it's those big ones
1 basket is 3500,I ate the last one of them I bought on April 30last month day before yesterday
That's basically 15 days ,it could have last more but I was hungry
The yam I bought for 1500 was very small and was already rotting inside
Don't buy those small small ones
Buy in baskets
1 basket is 3500 but price am 3k and buy 500 naira carrot to join your egg sauce ,in case u want to eat it with egg sauce
Look at the body before buying and make sure they are not wet
If they are in a wet environment they will decay fast
When I bought mine last month
I put them on dry bagco bag I laid on the ground and made sure heat or water didn't touch them

Nigerians dping themselves Rice is npw 50K plus but Yam n Plaintain grown in Nigeria is now expensive.

If u are diabetic,it's better than rice self
And it makes person to fill full

Sweet potatoes is the way to go
Very high in fiber and high in vitamin a and other nutrients
It's a complex carbohydrates compared to rice and yam
If u are diabetic or watching your weight or u don't want to be eating too much to loose weight
1k sweet potatoes is enough for a day as u will just be filling full throughout
Instead of eating unnecessary carbs and sugars like indomie spaghetti that will spoil your system

I bought one basket for 3500 on April 30th last month and ate the last one on the day before yesterday,if u see how big it was
The last one was heavy ,I ate it with egg sauce and couldn't finish it in one sitting,I had to remain till night to finish it
Even till 12pm the second day,I was still filling full lol

Even when eating everyday,it's better than Yam that's just starch
Sweet potatoes saves gas,and no need for salt and sugar
U can literally just eat it after boiling it
