SOLE ADMINISTRATOR OF OBIO/AKPOR LGA COMMISERATES WITH GAS EXPLOSION VICTIMS AS HE VISIT NOBPET FILLING STATION

The Sole Administrator, Sir Dr Clifford Ndu Walter DSSRS FCAI JP, has expressed deep sympathy for the victims of the recent gas explosion incident at Nobpet filling station at Rumuomasi, which destroyed property worth millions of naira.

During an unscheduled visit to the scene, the sole administrator described the incident as unfortunate and assured affected residents of government effort to combat such incidents, He also expressed gratitude that no lives were lost.

Safety should always be top of the list for volatile service providers like this.

It shouldn't be sited in a crowded neighborhood. If the neighborhood gets too crowded, they should always move to a less denser place to avoid massive casualties in case of unfortunate incidents like this.

I wonder how some persons sleep at night with the kind of bitterness and hatred in their hearts.

This is a private filling station owned by an Ex employee of an oil major company.

What has the explosion to do with wike, Tinubu. Loot, or bad government.

This is a natural disaster that happens everywhere in the world.

My advice is for the state govt to enact a kaw that prohibits filling stations near offices.

This filling station is even beside a shopping complex and coscharis motors.

There are victims ... but no deaths. How serious are the victims they don't say. Sole administrator runs to the scene to commiserate.... not to lead a team of investigators... didn't even mention about having an investigation to find out the cause of the explosion..... didn't mention having inspectors to ensure safety regulations are maintained. What really is his purpose?.. I'm not sure if he knows.

I'm still shocked how everyone in Rivers State maintained grave SILENCE with the appointment of sole administrator in the State.
