That's what Edo state calls it. It's called "Vehicle Inspection Notice" in Abuja. It's what you're supposed to pay for and present to the VIO for the inspection of your vehicle before Road Worthiness is issued.

This can't be true. All insurance can't be 15k when the whole cost of renewal in some states (including third-party insurance) is still less than 15k.

To renew car documents in port Harcourt rivers state now is not child's play. Imagine paying over 35k to renew car documents without comprehensive insurance.

When third party insurance with no benefit takes #15000, vehicle license is between 2300 to 3350, Road worthiness and MOT is arround #7500, prove of ownership while CMIR cost #8000.

permit which cost arround 25k without medical report.

So to renew car documents is now approximately #70000.

My whole vehicle papers cost about 14k in Akwa Ibom when I renewed around November last year. Insurance included. I did it at the states Internal Revenue Service Office (AKIRS).
