President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday met with security chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to discuss national security issues.

The President presided over the security meeting ahead of his departure for Rome on Saturday for the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV.

Present at the meeting were the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa; the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and the Director General of the Department of State Services, Mr. Oluwatosin Ajayi. Also in attendance were the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Olufemi Oluyede; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar; Chief of Defence Intelligence, Maj.-Gen. Emmanuel Undiandeye; and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Sadiq Idris Abubakar.

NIGERIANS needs fruitful meetings to end insecurity in the land not matching orders or fruitless security meetings ,ebi like say the IG is tired of the fruitless meetings hence he sent his deputy to represent him

All this meetings upon meetings will not solve any problem.
Buhari was always in and out of meetings with service Chief's.
Our Intelligence have failed us.
Why up till now, the DSS and military intelligence cannot uncover all the hideouts of bandit's, Boko Haram and ISWAP in Nigeria forest?
Why is it that they cannot track all their sponsor's and cut off their supplies. This will suffocate them the same thing America did to Al Qaeda that pushed Osama Bin Laden into permanent oblivion until the CIA still tracked him and uncover his hiding place in Pakistan boarder and left the Navy seal to finish the work.
Our Intelligence system must be rekindled.
