The management of Aunty Joy School told the teachers to give me back my school fees. They said they’re chasing my kids out because I complained and refused to pay for the party.

We were given different accounts for tuition and party fees. We paid for tuition, but they issued a party levy receipt instead. Now they’ve asked the teachers to bring my child’s things out because we complained about the ₦15,000 party fee.

Most private schools these days are a joke

Nigeria has sadly gone down the drain. Most of these private school operate as they wish. The public schools are in shambles and most parents are left with no option than to patronise them.

Now she must get a lawyer and take them to court. Also the education authorities can be contacted to take up the matter. A close look at the school May discover that it’s not even registered with the state education ministry.

Why embarrass the children in such manner?

Simply sue the school and collect compensation

There are 3 sides to this story. The parents,the school management and the actual truth.The school can't just expel student because of a petty reason of not paying party fee.

This is one of the BLACK MAN'S PROBLEM ...arbitrary use of power.

The state government and the ministry of education in the state should do the needful. Party levy shouldn't be forced on parents. As a matter of fact, the party level is a scam in the sense that what kids receive at the party doesn't can't be compared to the amount paid. Government, this up to u.

This is a wakeup call for these private schools to be regulated. They should not be left to do what they like with our kids, but rather a common standard should be created for all private schools, and non compliance strictly punished!
