Ultimately, the Fulani in Nigeria want to relocate as many Fulani from Mali, Burkina Faso, Niger, Senegal, Guinea and Cameroon as they can to settle in Nigeria. They have identified the states of Plateau, Benue, Kogi and Enugu as viable locations for resettlement of their kin from other countries.

They conceived this plan over 25 years ago when it became obvious that global warming and climate change were inevitable. As desert encroachment was becoming more widespread and water sources they had relied on to feed their cattle started drying up, the came up with this plan. They knew that the areas they currently occupy would become dryer and will not be able to sustain them and their cattle rearing ways going forward.

For example, over the years, lake Chad has lost over 2/3 of its size by volume. It is a very alarming thing to witness. The lake Chad was a major source of water for the 4 countries that border it. This is water the Fulani depended on to feed cattle.

Instead of adopting practices like ranching which has been proven to be better for cattle, the Fulani have sworn to remain roaming pastoralists and have viewed the states in the middle belt of Nigeria and certain parts of Enugu state as viable locations for resettling their people.

As much as 64 indigenous communities in Plateau state had their populations sacked and those communities renamed by the Fulani. The Fulani and their cattle have moved in. They've been there for over 5 years now. So this is already happening before our very eyes.

It will not be out of place to say Nigeria's security architecture has been compromised or rendered ineffective by design. Not that it would have mattered in anyway. Ever patient, the Fulani game out every scenario so as to stay a step ahead of security agencies.

State governments need to stop being cowards. If former governor Amosun could find ways to import over 3000 rifles to arm his people, then no governor has an excuse.

My main beef is not even with the fulani terrorists, but the wealthy individuals from all these places under attack.

Good morning Tiv people..What an igbo man sees while lying down the rest of the ethnic tribes in Nigeria will never see it while standing on top of an iroko tree..next time..never take sides in a conflict that u don't know the true story behind it..u see dat civil war that yoruba,tiv and d rest of the ethnic nationalities joined hands to fight the igbos you all will reap ur rewards..I just warn my igbo brothers to remain neutral in anything concerning Nigeria ,we won't be used as scape goats again

So saying that they're not from Nigeria is very ambiguous because nigeria was not in existence when they spread to the place now known as Nigeria. It was the French and English that actually carved up and divided their territory among themselves via the Berlin conference Act.
