How is he trying?

i wonder the country you reside

Dollar is 1700 now
Could have been worse, if not for his ascendance to the presidency.

All these security clowns should do their job, instead of wearing Kampala and snapping pictures about.

Worse?

Buhari met it at 216 in 2015
took it to 700 naira in eight years

Tinubu took it from 700 in 2023
to 1400 in Just a year

Talk about a complete failure.
Removing subsidy and floating the naira without a plan in place

who does that,?.. he has been using money to defend the naira but no way 2k to a dollar won't happen before December

Nigeria is gone under Tinubu
he alone killed the country

God1000:
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Friday met with security chiefs at the Presidential Villa in Abuja to discuss national security issues.

The President presided over the security meeting ahead of his departure for Rome on Saturday for the inauguration of Pope Leo XIV.

Present at the meeting were the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa; the Minister of Defence, Mohammed Badaru; the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu; and the Director General of the Department of State Services, Mr. Oluwatosin Ajayi. Also in attendance were the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Olufemi Oluyede; Chief of Naval Staff, Vice Admiral Emmanuel Ogalla; Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Hassan Abubakar; Chief of Defence Intelligence,
Maj.-Gen. Emmanuel Undiandeye; and Deputy Inspector General of Police, Sadiq Idris Abubakar.
It's a relatively complex issue on the surface BUT then it can be solved based off of my deep insights. As a solution-based man who dislikes it when people complain needlessly over very simple solutions that are right in front of us if we tap right into our creative intelligence.

FIRST off, the porous borders have existed right before the French and British colonialism and after British colonialism colonialism of Nigeria till today. The ONLY solution is to spend a couple of billions of USD for Nigeria to build high walls (just like the United States had planned to do along the United States/Mexico border) with electrified fences separating Nigeria from Niger Republic, Chads, Cameroon, and Benin Republic so that the citizen of those countries and other Sahelian countries such a as Mali, Guinea, Burkina Faso and the highly IRRESPONSIBLE Fulani herders and bandits do not enter Nigeria illegally. Prisoners correctional centers close to the border areas can be used as labor sources to build those walls which are bullet-proof and made from the cheaper adobe bricks (or stabilized laterite bricks) from laterite which is abundant in the Nigerian geological space. Conversely, other stronger materials can ALSO be considered to build the border walls.

Second, Nigeria has to purchase more attack and surveillance drones from the existing Nigerian manufacturer who displayed attack drones early last month, then buy more from China, Turkey, and use advanced satellite-based tracking systems to accurately pinpoint locations, car number plates from outer space and ruthlessly take down these terror groups such as the Al-Qaeda-affiliated JNIM, BH, bandits and more while linking up with especially the United States of America to share military intelligence and use United States' military platforms in joint collaborations to strike for the benefit of both countries. As I type this, the United States still bombed Al-Shabab terror position after Donald Trump became the President in early 2025 and the United States military forces are still battling terror groups despite bombing jihadi groups over the many years gone by and taking out Osama bin Laden in his hide out in Pakistan alongside others because new groups are simply rising up to replace the old ones that have been eliminated by using social media to recruit new members, involvement in illegal mining, crimes and drug trafficking, and donations from unsuspecting people in the religious world to fund their activities.

Third, the use of advanced biological weapons and new methods of advanced mind programing can help to eliminate these terror groups and make them very docile. We can't be dealing with the military-industrial complex all the time and spending billions of USD to buy very expensive weapons when these billions of USD can be channeled into positive developmental purposes.

Fourth, the judiciary must take more rapid actions in dispensing criminal justice through the effective computerization of courts and evidence-based practices in handing over quick justice (and capital punishments) to all those found guilty of crimes.

Fifth, to curb the foreign Fula herdsmen and Fula bandits invasions of several Nigerian communities, Mallam Nuhu Ribadu has to be eased off because he is a Fulani from Adamawa and may NOT want to give the full details about what his kinsmen are doing by taking over the lands of indigenous Nigerians. Nuhu Ribadu can be moved elsewhere EXCEPT if Nuhu Ribadu has actually told the President the full situation about what his foreign kinsmen are doing. Most of the Northern Nigeria States Governors are from the minority Fulanis who are Governing the majority indigenous Hausa States and the Hausas are already angry and tired of these ethnic marginalizations and speaking out (both males and females) in online videos about the foreign Fula bandits attacking their farmlands and communities so as to end the Fula political hegemony over them in their own land. El-Rufai has a direct male ancestor who he said (on a live Channels Television program years ago) is from Guinea Conakry origin who only arrived in Nigeria after the Jihad of the 1800s. The Baba Ahmeds are from the Fulanis of Mauritania, Atiku Abubakar is from the Fulanis of Cameroon all of them with Berber (or North African direct male ancestors from the paternal Morocco area through Senegal/Mauritania Fulani evolution) and this can be gleaned from the DNA tests as well showing that Fulanis are paternally of Berber North African lineage in Morocco.
