The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, FCT, Nyesom Wike, has said he won’t leave the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, while working for President Bola Tinubu.

Wike said he’s not a man that gives to fear, hence would remain with the PDP while working for Tinubu as a minister.

He disclosed this in an interview with BBC Pidgin, published on Saturday.

Asked if he would leave PDP, Wike said: “I can’t do that, I’m not afraid – how will I build a house and you now ask me to vacate the play.

“It’s you that will leave the house not me that built it. You want to spoil a house that I built, I won’t allow you. I won’t leave, I will remain there.

“Opposition does not show impunity or arrogance, it’s the ruling party that does impunity and arrogance because we are in power.

“The one that pains me is the threats from them (South-East PDP). Let me ask you, who is there? Achike Udenwa who is a former governor of Imo and has no single National Assembly member, he didn’t give his party three percent of votes, yet is threatening.

“Sam Egwu, former Ebonyi State governor has no National Assembly member and did not produce a governor, yet is threatening – he is empty – which threat is he issuing?

“We that have produced governor, National Assembly members have not issued any threat, it’s you that can’t give your party three percent that is threatening.

“I have told them that if they zone, when we get to the bridge, we will cross it but they are fraudulent and I have told them that it will kill them.”

He also said he won’t run for the 2027 presidency against President Bola Tinubu.

Wike said he is currently working with Tinubu, hence won’t contest against him in 2027.

Asked if he would contest against Tinubu, Wike said: “I will not contest again, I should contest against somebody I’m working with? Who would win it if not him (Tinubu)?”

Presenter: One of the things wey happen for the PDP wey you say you no like na the issues of the 2023 elections wey you say dem suppose zone the Presidency to the South and dem no do am, so what if dem correct that in this 2027 election and dem zone am to the South, you go contest again as President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?

Wike: I no go contest again. I no go contest.

Wike: Why I go contest? Make I go contest against the man wey I dey work with?

Presenter: That means say you support President Tinubu for the next term and believe say na him go win?

Wike: Come, na who go win am now? You seee, Person wey be say dey for opposition no dey do impunity. Opposition no dey do arrogance. Na ruling party dey do impunity and arrogance, say we dey for power. Person wey dey opposition no dey show power. And the one wey dey vex me pasa when I see say dem dey threaten. Who dey there? Achike Udenwa wey be former Governor of Imo, e no get one Assembly member. E no get one National Assembly member. E no even give his Party 3% of the vote, e dey threaten.

We wey don produce Governor, produce National Assembly, produce House of Assembly members, we never threaten, na you wey wey no give your Party common 3% and you dey threaten. And I don tell dem say dem must Zone am to South, make dem zone first, when we get to the bridge we know how to cross it, but dem too play wayo. I don tell them say this their wayo na e go kill dem.

Presenter: Normal people thinking go be say if you no like the leadership of somewhere or the way dem dey do, na to comot na....

Wike: I no go fit do that kind thing, I no be fear fear man. I be weak man? How I go build house, then you come come to frustrate me make I comot, who go comot? Na you go comot because na me build the house. You wan spoil house wey I build, I no go gree you spoil am, I go dey there.

Presenter: One of the toughest political battles wey you dey face na with the suspended Governor of Rivers State, if nanthe toughest one wey you don face?

Wike: (laughs) That one no be battle. That one na my boy nah, na my son. How I go fight battle with my son? The people wey I dey fight na people wey wan thief werin dem no work.

Presenter: Who be those people?

Wike: You no know dem? All these Austin Opara people. All these Abiye dem, dem wan hijack...people dem wey run away. All these Omehia dem. You know when you don defeat dem, dem never believe say you don defeat dem. So you defeat dem till the final one. As we dey defeat dem, shame don dey catch dem.

Presenter: So you believe say na dem dey push am?

Wike: Na dem dey push am nah

Presenter: Wetin you ready to do for peace, You say say you call am....

Wike: No, I no call am, no be call am. E come here with some Governors. President call me say make we make peace. I say Oga how you go tell me make we make peace, wey I no go go make peace.

Presenter: So you ready to make peace?

Wike: If I no wan make peace, see where e siddon. E siddon here, one Governor siddon here, anoda one siddon here, one former Governor siddon here. I tell am say na you. Yam dey for your hand, knife dey for your hand, na you know how you go take cut am, na you know how you go do the peace. If you want correct peace I dey, if you want wayo peace, okay nah.

Presenter: So na him hand e dey?

Wike: Oh yes, na my hand e dey? Na him hand e dey. If I no want peace I no go allow am to enter. I talk am the other day wey e call me for phone. I ask am how you dey, e say fine. How your family, e say fine. If I no want peace I no go talk to anybody.

What does this man know that all this PDP big wigs are afraid of him? He is very bold and telling them to do their worst. As it stands now, all the political parties in Nigeria are all useless, any of their collision will fail because they are all filled with over ambitious individuals. Apc succeeded during their time because people like Tinubu, kwankwaso, Even Atiku all aligned around buhari. But can atiku allow Obi to go? Time will tell.

Tinubu is financing PDP through Wike.
I stated this in a thread someone got angry but I laughed. The only spender that can challenge Wike is Delta state and Wike has successfully settle them in APC.
No other state, person or group can finance PDP like Rivers state and Delta states.
So, there lies Wike power. The party hierarchy knows that expelling Wike will turn them to SDP or ADC. So, give it to him. He's an emperor
