If you actually follow that discussion you would know we were talking about winning major trophies (champions league and league) as a barometer for defining world class players. Everyone knows there's a difference between major and minor trophies and the community shield might be minor but city won it and are definitely not trophyless this season. We won a treble! The community shield is a trophy( it's a shield after all), we won a major European trophy (and we are now in the champions league thanks to that) and we also won an important domestic cup (which could have got us into the europa still)!
