solar generators are good for mobility...you can just put in your car..drive to a park and garden and provide energy for several needs. with your fixed system at home am sure you cannot easily do the same. dollarnaira: |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by mctfopt: 3:59pm On May 18, 2025 |
swagifted:If mobility ain't a part of use case you totally don't need a solar generator. But if you need power on the move or for a short stay at a location without power, then totally get yourself one. |

fuckboys:before now, what capacity of battery were you using and what battery chemistry was it, and what brand ? |
| Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by bassdow: 5:04pm On May 18, 2025 |
dollarnaira:Solar generators are actually good because they have a purpose. issue is even those who don't need one, buys it. As for your suggestion, makes sense not because they are BAD, but because those who couple them are too greedy to use even half a decent quality parts. Funny enough, if you source for quality Lithium cells / battery, buy a cheap charge-Controller ad a few other things, including Thick wires / cables, you're more than good to go. |

Oshomo12:if He takes that to a technician, they can help him out. Some landlords don't mind but some do. Also if He could afford doing it without notifying anyOne, I think He should. |

ajabani4allah:that is junctek KF series, only Bluetooth with app monitoring. Doesn't support wifi. Around 50k The Junctek KM series is the one that support remote monitoring with wifi and Bluetooth connection. That's more expensive at around 80k and above. |

KudozInteriors:Do not open the battery!!!.....it is not a wise thing to do since there's a dispute, if you open it, you've faulted!...find a way to get evidence that the battery isn't what you paid for....report to gistlover, there are accounts on X that helps with such issues, make research and tag them...go on Facebook and report to blogs... |

redgem:But, the Batteries was already opened, warranty seal already broken. Opening it is just for him to be sure and have his evidence as well. |

Hello, How much PV Input wattage is normal under clear sunny sky for two 590W connected in series? First day, around 127W, 300W for a few minutes (day was sunny one minute, cloudy the next) Second day, about the same Third day, around 400W, over 600W for a few mins (not as clear a day as the last two days but better for some reason) Fourth day, finally saw 966W but only for a few minutes, mostly around 400W to 500W Even the times it was cloudy but still bright, is 170W ish normal? Inverter is Welion 24V,1.5kva with 40A mppt of 30 - 150voc Cable is 6mm, 10yards distance from panels to inverter through Chint 63A breaker, SPD Panels are mostly flat on the roof, they pick pv as early as 6:15am to 6:34pm I trust the PV input number from the inverter LCD because most of it goes to charge the battery as shown on the battery BMS (only less the ~25W inverter takes to run) Panels were gotten from Fouani Maybe the panels need time to warm up 😂 I'll definitely observe for a few more days but it's hard listening to that inverter blasting on full fan even with less than 10% load. El-cheapo indeed. |

Nice. Build! How much will it cost to have this setup witttth all necessary components. Does it2,ww#ithh l$sss, have an inbuilt inverter, charge controller etc? What and what can it power after sunset? Strictly to be charged with solar panels, what wattage can do it in South South, with lesser sunlight? I need to start somewhere. My major need is to charge laptop forr my work during daytime while the family powers tv(32" , Decoder and 6 units of 10w bulbs. Fans and others can wait. fuckboys: |
