Leave them alone, they'll never learn

I've had cause to tell some of them that a time is coming, AND NOW IS such that even if it remains only a single yoruba man in a local govt in lagos/sw and d rest are nddigbos, that single yoruba man will still win!

You are d first person I've come across in Nairaland to hint this also.
Cunnyman die, cunnyman buryam.

When we tell una to just face una tradingz and leave politics to others e go be like insult.

Hahahahaha.......just bookmark this post!
grin
You think I am Igbo?
I wish I am.

I now perceive that anyone who dare to say anything against tribalist are quickly perceived as "awoni ye"

Let me tell you, the real enemy are gathering their forces in the bushes and forest. I am a farmer, and I can tell you this: that they will attack and kill when yoruba least think, it will be sudden and swift. Government has not been truthful about the real issue going on underneath.

Huh! Like I once said, if we think Igbos should never be part of this lagos and Nigeria by xtension, we should let them go. The Fulani that are not industrious are doing us much harm than good. Nobody is talking about how to expel them out of the land. Yet, we xpend so much energy in tribal bigotry.

You should bookmark this, because this ur laughter will turn to wailing later. The real enemy are quiet, they re not showy and have mapped out the land. Just dey watch!

If APC rejects him as vice chairman, then another party should front an Igbo man as chairman and watch we Igbos will vote them to power, we have more population and influence in ojo, oshodi And amuwo
Lies. Yorubas still has the highest population in every LGA in Lagos state.

Don’t mind the yeye people. After rejecting an Igbo vice chairman, they will still ask Igbo members in APC Ojo to vote in favour of APC.

If not for these tribalistic views, should Ojo not be one of the best in the entire country? The LG covers a very vast area, largely dominated by not just the Igbos, but the Aworis, northerners and persons of other tribes. The biggest electrical and electronics market in Africa is located there, generating the biggest income for the LG. Unfortunately because of greed and corruption, they completely continue to ignore that major road leading from Volks, through Alaba market, enroute to other areas covered by the LG. As we get into the raining season, it will become more difficult for residents of the area to navigate. Even Okokomaiko and its axis are in trouble. Rather than face development as the LG, some yeye politicians are busy talking racism. Again, they will race to the same Igbos to request for money to finance the election.

Ojo LGA was completely a PDP territory until Jimi Agbaje lost the area when he contested the election in 2019.
You don't vote APC. So they would not even bother to beg you minority ibos in Lagos to vote the..

Yorubas voted Obi. Same Yorubas made a U-turn after they realized the agenda of the ibos.

As far as the person have lived in the state for a long time to qualify. Igbos gat no issue with that. We are not tribal.
Clown. Same you that rejected an Anambra indigene from becoming mayor of Aba, or same you that call Ebonyi people fulani ibos. You can only fool gullible people.

Alaba people pay little to no taxes. They tell you to pay into personal accounts. Go figure.

Igbos should just need the call to go back and invest in the SE. Gradually, if Igbos pull out their investments and population from Lagos, the Yoruba can have full autonomy of their Lagos as they want. It will take time but it's very achievable. This level of bile isn't easily swallowed.

Yoruba leaders are playing with fire.. this is me being very honest.
Gone are the days of docility.. Local Government leadership should be strictly for indigenes, same as State Government. Opportunities abound for everybody at Federal level, but not LG or State level.

How many Yorubas are Vice Chairman in LGs in the East?.. your answer is none. So why should Igbos be holding offices meant for Yorubas in South West?

Yoruba ronu!
When you become a significant proportion of the population, you can seek political positions or use your population to garner political support.
Re: Lagos LG Poll: Ojo APC Group Rejects Igbo Nominee For Vice-chairman by Gerrard59(m): 2:30am On May 19, 2025
The problem lies with the Igbos in Lagos who believe in lovey-dovey politics. While it is good to have a say in an area where the majority of you live, if you see that tides are changing, you don't bother too much. So, what do you do? You stay off the politics, don't donate to any party, be neutral, don't participate in any election. Just mind the business/work/studies that brought you there. I have written countless times that humans are tribal and not every group are like the Anglophones (who are even changing as well).

"29-Year-Old British-Nigerian, Opeyemi Bright, Appointed UK Youngest Mayor"

But it's okay for a Yoruba man to appointed a mayor in London. Bunch of low life, insecure and paranoid folks. I'm sure that even the chairman is not from Ojo LGA. If an indigene of the local govt can not be found, then the posts are open to all Nigerians resident in Ojo LGA. Being of Yoruba descent should not be a criteria.

Why should a Yoruba man from Ondo or Ekiti be accepted and an Igbo man from Enugu, Anambra or Imo not.
The bold are wrong, and yes, this is why you lots there get flogged, your properties get burnt and tirelessly mocked. Lagos is Yoruba land, and within their sociocultural/political circles, they see nothing wrong with a Yoruba man from Kwara or Kogi being a politician in Lagos. It is not any non-Yoruba person's business to have a say in such matters. Yes, a Yoruba person can be appointed as a mayor in London, but a non-ethnic Japanese would find it hard to be appointed or elected in Tokyo. Every ethnic group is not like the Anglophones. Would you advocate the same in China?

Leave people's politics for the locals/indigenes and mind your private business.

There are more Igbos in Lagos than Yorubas in the entire southeast.

This is basic mathematics.

Even there are more igbos in Ibadan or Ilesha than the entire Yorubas in the SE. People move from unproductive places to productive places.

When you a Korean, Chinese. Does it make you smart?

When color white is now colour red, not because it changed but that is what you want to see or believe. Now, that state of mind is called "illusion " or self deception. I admit, I am from South south, but adjoining South East to SS just because they don't serve your political view or purpose portray an endemic evil brewing beneath the surface of your person and the entirety of a tribe. We are one When it serves you. But when it doesn't - you quickly point out his origin.

If a person reside in a certain area for decades he can be in leadership position in that territory and he certain ethnic dominate the population of a certain geography area, they can rule that area politically , since politics is game of numbers.
Yoruba ppl said they don't want you people. Respect your host and avoid a Rwanda style tribal war that might potentially happen soon.
