In one word you wrote built. The other word production. If it was not built, how was it produced. If it was not intended to be produced in certain quantities, what was the purpose of the technology? If it would not be used in warfare in future, why the effort?

Nations are thinking ahead. No decent nation wants to be dominated by another. While the Israelis daily pound and destroy Hezbollah with high grace equipment, your country’s military uses Toscano jets, bombing open fields and missing targets, while you all hail them.

Most of these Chinese weapons are built to match, or, in some little cases, outperform western weapons.
Chinese see Western weapons as a benchmark or standard by even incorporating similar names to tag most of their jet. This being said.
Russia had the same problem in air superiority battle with US when they were building Jets as a response to F-15, SR-71 and even F-22.

Now back to my initial post. I said, (China) has already built a jet that would track a bomber like B21 when the samw B21 for example hasn't gone into full loaded production

The truth is, China was in a hurry to roll out the jet just so that the world won't say they copied the design from US

Now do not forget that the military competition among the world’s strongest military powers, daily increases. The Americans are in a fierce battle against the Chinese. That’s why each passing day you hear that they talk of a future war with the Chinese. The Americans developed hydrogen bombs and the rest of the world copied. Today, the Russians hold the largest stockpile of nuclear armaments worldwide. The game is looking into what your competitor is doing. The game is looking ahead of your competitor. So even if you make any errors with your equipment, you improve.

Trump chose the path of a trade war with China and the Chinese retaliated. The same Trump after his threats and actions, through back channels, has started negotiations with the same Chinese, who refused to be cowed.

I am not holding brief for the Chinese. I am only letting you know that the Chinese are not sleeping. They are thinking ahead of the Americans and the rest of the world. They have control of the critical weapons for military production. They make technological errors, but they will get there.
