Is it realy that cheap?Considering it is Grade B cells and one can get equivalent capacity of Grade A cell at almost same price.
everytime grade a grade b, i don't even understand what the noise is all about.

Not even like you're using the battery pack for high voltage applications like hybrid vehicles or electric cars, it's just home storage system.

Most of you here will even die before you degrade even a grade C lifepo4 batteries on just home storage.

It's a very good deal and we all know it, nothing beats it currently in Nigeria based on pricing.

the max voc of 80v on the powmr cc is for 12v system, it supports 24 and 48v systems also which also has different max voc. Please refer to your manual for this.

I switched to hybrid inverter because of exactly this limitation on the powmr cc, it couldn't handle my 4 panels on 12v system.
This explains it!

Checking cells voltage is overrated, for me sha.
The only way to know what is happening to your battery pack is to see the voltage of the individual cells. Cell balancing basically tries to equalize the voltages of all the cells. Without the ability to know the individual cell voltage, you will not know whether your pack is balanced or not. Most battery packs will fail because one or two cells are dead or dying.

it won't damage the cc or anything if you exceeds it's capacity limit, i was getting around 800w plus before the cc will just disconnect the panels and stop charging.

These only applies to DIY people, who are using Crude tools to build batteries, If you use correct tools, all the way to machines laser welded I don't see really why people should care about cell voltages.

All I am saying is LFP works!
less than 5% of users care about cell voltages, most dont even understand what to look out for so whats the point?

Well built packs with BMS and passive balancers works without issues for years.

Honestly I second this, before switching to lifepo4, I have been using lithium ion(harvested 18650 battery cells) battery packs for over 2 years daily running and no issues or marginal degradation. For home use A/B cells don't really matter to be honest, most of us aren't even maximizing this batteries to the limit. Some grade B cells are even new cells that dont meet the manufacturers standard.

Me just look away at this point, cause the cell that give me 290AH from 280AH, in capacity test is already a pass.
There is another popular brand that only tested 268AH from a 280AH Grade B,D cells wink I and Stopped recommending it altogether.

I also import cells as well, for DIY person,
Grade A cells from China is 45USD max for 280AH per cell. So if a pack with Non smart BMS sells for 450k and test full capacity then its a good to buy already.

Good evening guys

What can make powmr 60A controller make abnormal sound with it fan having difficulty spinning?
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Ferdiwar: 6:01pm On May 19, 2025
For me it's not a yastic not to buy it if it has a good performance track records.

My Deye battery does not have display and it's not equipped with smart BMS and I've not for once had any reason to even check it and the battery performance has been super great since purchase.

HeavenlyBang:
Yeah, that makes it a no-go for me unfortunately.

Have you ever clean the fan out of dust from onset?

Possiblity of damaged or stiff fan motor.

My inverter threw an 04 code today. From tbe manual its over temperature of pv module. Please what can cause this?

What's the mppt amps on the hybrid inverter?
