In the early hours of Saturday, 18th May 2025, the Chairman of the Lekki Estate Residents Association (@Lekkiphase1_ ) alerted us to an incident involving the illegal dumping of refuse along Durosimi-Etti Street in Lekki Phase 1.

He stated that the Chairman of the Lekki Estate Residents Association (LERA) had alerted LAWMA in the early hours of Saturday, May 18, 2025, about illegal dumping of waste along Durosimi-Etti Street in Lekki Phase 1.

In most cities, there're PSP that handles waste management. Why not use them? Could it be a setup? The management of the restaurant should sanction whoever is responsible and pay the necessary fine. The world has been so wicked that some persons can just do anything to tarnish others businesses.

Most likely the driver acted on his own discretion and not on the directive of the company's management.

He should be prosecuted in line with extant laws while the vehicle is impounded.

Closing down the center is an overkill

How are you sure that the suspect wasn't a yoruba boy who just violated the company's rule by dumping rubbish by the road side
