Spirituality: You lose faith in God as you have put faith in gambling.
Plus many other things you lose

All things should be done in moderation. All you listed happens in all aspects of life, business or investment is still the same thing... Know when to quit, is the rule of life.

There's no part of life that all you listed isn't involved... Even religion sef, you merely hanging on "Faith", while reality remains you have no clue if it'll pay off.

Its very simple , go and open an account with any of the banks , give them order to debit certain amount once it enters your account. set the new account that is being credit to withdraw only after 6 months. Continue working and betting with what is left . Have a strong plans on what to do with the money after 6month and do it immediately or fix it again.

I started praying and hating the habit. But i still went out of compulsion. Its not a straight forward solution its a painstaking striving relentlessly from same place as the addiction is coming from. The heart. In other words dig deeper.

the begining is prayer. Let God be the start of your quest. The faith you can quit in the end has to be pinned on something higher than yourself since you cant trust yourself now. God is stable, is why men over time learn to faith in him.

Secondly, If you did not become an addict one day you cant quit one day. So keep going there but hate yourself each time you come out and curse yourself. Thessame way you will curse a stupid person if he wasting resources. With time your psychology will build his own resilaince. Gambling is starked on greed and desperation. its the back spirit. Be consciouse like that. You are a greedy desperate person.Tell yourslef if you are making decent earining whats the desperation for. Gradually the urge will slow down. It all about the urge meanwhile, find something that occupies you most hour of the day. Me i sunk myself immmensly into my work. That way i did not have spare time for myself or any other habit. Before i knew i was addicted to work. You must be addict of somthing. Just let it be the good things. You will be fine my guy. See you on the other side.

Well, you're not alone.
And the truth is, once you start it is not easy to stop.
I believe you're not married.
Make sure your children don't fall prey.
But for you, I must tell you it's very difficult.
I've seen someone who can't buy a shirt of N7k but can loss N7k like 10times in a month to virtual.
When your parents or someone close to you told you that gambling is bad, they were talking from experience but most of us refused to heed their advice.
