I think we she should channel the energy to FG for funding
Our hospital needs equipment and more clinical staff need to be employed
Just last week doctors where protesting on twitter that their salary have not been paid how do U expect a angry doctor to perform his job effectively

Exactly my point
But the funny thing is that if she took them to court u will find out that war she was ranting about isn't entirely true and that they can't prove in court that it was really negligence
I strongly believe she's doing this for clout. If someone accuses a doctor ... a nurse or a hospital for negligence.... he would say why. She never did.

Which Yeye abroad.

Babies are delivered with cord around the neck everytime here in Lagos-go and confirm.

It is even too late to go in for c.s at that point in time so you guy should stop talking about what you don't know.
There are some hospitals here in abk I don’t want to mention, one’s your water break and vagina is still less than 10cm and they already place you on induction drip for 6 or 12 hours you are going for CS, some hospitals even persuade their patient to do CS prior to their delivery date that it’s painless and stress free…A lot I know and I don’t want to talk about..

She can't say why cos she get no evidence

If the hospital try to sue her she'll definitely lose
She should be thankful she didn't mention name of the hospital

I think it’s right time for every family to have one or two family member in medical field, a friend wife labored for 3 days at a clinic owned by his family member, she gave birth the 3rd night with no complications.
The stubborn boy thought he was coming to the world to tap palm wine, he wrapped his hand, leg and neck with the umbilical cord thereby making it difficult for the strong woman to push him out.
I’m very sure most hospitals even abroad would deliver the baby through CS…They didn’t give up on the pregnant woman because she was their family so they put in more than their best to make sure the woman gave birth without any complications..
This is dangerous and a CS isn't about giving up on the mother, it is done to prevent needless prolonged labour, so the baby isn't stressed, prolonged labour can cause permanent cognitive issues in the baby, congratulations.

While her pain is valid and heartbreaking let’s remember we don’t know the full story so we should avoid emotional outbursts and stop casting blame on an entire noble profession based on one incident.
There is nothing like emotional outburst. The doctors and nurses in Nigeria majority of them are cold blooded reptilians who can watch a patient die without lifting a finger to help. I am telling you as someone that grew up in the system cos my mother was a nurse who retired decades ago. Their generation was the last generation that had true desire for the job with human empathy. These days they are just after the money and vent their frustrations on the patients.
If truly they are tired of the job they should get out of the system.

[quote author=thesicilian post=135447791]The point is that you guys do not know what happened. This lady right here may even just be catching cruise without having access to all the information. The person affected is in mourning, yet the "concerned 3rd party" is ranting online. I've seen situations where and nurses heroically try to save a patient and are unsuccessful, the immediate relatives of the deceased will even tell the doctors and nurses thank you for your efforts, but the "concerned 3rd parties" will still go and start trying to make trouble, or even go online to use the situation to farm engagements.

It's not about the lady, shit happens in this country a lot can relate including me.

A woman in labour for 3 days

And a child with cord around neck

Haaaaaaaaa

To prove what point.

At the risk of the womans life and the childs life and risk of brain damage to the child

This doesntt make sense at all

This was just a high risk gamble

Life itself is a risk, people die every day through CS and normal birth…

. You don't know what you're talking about, why do you not sing while you chew your food? "Life is a risk huh"? Cross a busy interstate road blindfolded since "people die everyday".. a cord around a baby's neck and prolonged labour almost always equals a terrible outcome for both mother and baby!
