We fought hard in 2023 elections, we won the war but lost the battle to the demonic system holding our dear country to it's knees. Coming out of that, it is expected that we all must have learnt a great deal of how this demonic system works and how to beat them to their game in the coming elections. In view of this, there has been so many talks and perhaps venting of anger on the leaked coalition talks ongoing for which while everyone has the right to air their opinions, we must proceed with caution and wisdom inorder not to loose focus on the goal to dismantle the APC. Atiku has been in the limelight of Nigeria's politics for decades. He's an experienced national politician and even under his pick that PO became a nationaly accepted candidate. Many didn't know him and even if they did, he was just like any other Igbo man from Anambra as far as other person's from other regions of the country were concerned just like me. However, a lot changed with the projection that followed and a lot of the people of other regions have come to know and testify that Peter is indeed good. 2023 elections saw for the first time 'SOCIAL MEDIA' candidate go toe to toe with the incumbent APC in a country that alot of people thought politics was all about 'RIGGING STRUCTURES' but let's not let our ego do damage to our chances in the nearest future. This is because, the system didn't believe PO had a chance and they didn't bother to checkmate him well in 2023. Even though his votes were suppressed, they still did that with a lot of doubt thinking he wasn't even a threat in the first place until it dawned on them in the final figures and if they hadn't played a little caution, they would have lost to a social media candidate! Going forward, if we look at the current political alliances going on now, we can see the APC has pressed the full button on PO right now... straight into his base...The SS and SE(if at all they can get a spoiler particularly here). The premutation is quite simple but complex at same time, it is such that 'EVERYONE KNOWS OBI DOESN'T HAVE APPEAL TO THE NORTHERN VOTERS ' AND EVEN IF THERE'S QUITE SOME, RIGGING CAN COMFORTABLY TAKE CARE OF THAT WITHOUT AN EYEBROW' This leaves PO splitting his base and still not doing well in the North as thesame time. Believe me, even if southerners vote PO they will rig much more comfortably compared to how it may be in the north should the northern masses allow it. In all of this, Atiku is the spoiler here perhaps maybe that's what he has been destined for...to spoil always but this time around the damage will be on APC ! either way it happens, PO will come out better not worse... including Nigerians. Atiku could not defeat Buhari in 2019, yes nobody alive at that time could do that against PMB in the north but still, he did have a good show. In 2023, PMB and his gang even though quite still did the work for APC thinking it would favor them in the end alas Tinubu has proved he had other intentions without them. That's the only reason Atiku didn't win the North, PMB influence was still there but there's now a window! There's a great opportunity to exploit but somehow a lot of Obidients have gone rogue suddenly about the rumored Vice president slot to PO. In all we do, we must apply caution and wisdom not just to satisfy ourselves but to see the great picture ahead. There's an Opportunity for the greatest voting alliance in Nigeria to be formed, let's not let our ego blind our logic. 'PO HAS NO PATH TO PRESIDENCY AS IT STANDS WITHOUT STRONG NORTHERN SUPPORT ' YES READ THAT AGAIN! And again Atiku is the only friend to Obi from the North at the moment! He is his pathway no matter how painful that makes me and you feel right now. But moreso, he Atiku is still 100x better than Tinubu in character and nationalism if that makes you feel better! Just like Tinubu was crownd by the North, POs chance will be decided there using the current scheme of politics we practice in Nigeria. Even Tinubu hasn't slept about the North. He sent all the top goons to buhari to plead and offer it all just to have his northern support remain intact but here are Obidients alike insulting thesame Atiku they likely voted for in 2019 just because some feel PO is the best out the 3. Well, if wisdom supersede, I urge us all to allow PO decide his path and we follow without asking too many questions and throwing insults at everyone right now. Atiku needs PO PO needs Atiku There's an interest and once there's a agreement.. Likely even written and public, it is left for us to decide whether to dash Jagaban the 1 vote or give it to the opposition. As for me, I voted for Atiku/Obi before I don't mind 100times over PO as president is even sweetest but in life sometimes we have to concede to win, If Atiku concedes to a single term, Obi can as well concede the position. It is 100x better than Tinubu staying beyond 2027 brothers and sisters! |

kmst:Throughout this week,it seems PDP fanboys have been sent to write different articles about trying to convince Obi supporters to accept the position of VP by offering a one term presidency for Atiku while Obi does two terms! The response from the camp of those close to Obi seems to be defiant and have voiced out several times that it's either Obi as flagbearer or no deal! My response is also similar and also a message to Atiku.....You have tried your best in the political sphere and it's time to quit the scene and throw your support for Obi come 2027! Approaching your late 70s,it's time you use the opportunity to play with your grandkids and possibly become an elder states man! It's not by force to be president no matter your best interests! Lastly,No amount of articles being churned out from your ever shrinking support base analysts will change the mind of Obi supporters who see the position of VP not only as a demotion but a distasteful insult on Obi who singlehandedly mobilized citizens in less than 9 months in an unpopular party to challenge powerful parties like PDP and APC! Never again should the best of us be led by the worst of us! |

KennethOkonkwo:You people mock them that they don't build bridges, they don't conceed, they don't know how to play politics, they are this, they are that. Now that they have started doing all that you and your people have used against them, e come dey pain you, WHY? This time around, Igbos have learnt their lessons. Obi will stoop low so as to be exalted. He will deputise Atiku to win, then take it back later. That is the trick you people don't want them to use against your demigod who will be booted out come 2027. |

2023 results in perspectives Tinubu/ APC - 8.8M Atiku / PDP - 7M OBI / LP -6M 2027 extrapolation, add 3m apiece Tinubu + rigging + bad governance minus Northern votes - 12M max [9 +3] ATIKU + OBI + Northern votes + Coalition = 16M [7+6+ 3] The Maths is quite SIMPLE! APC and INEC will require 6 million votes collaborated with BVAS data glitches and thumbprints to win this. |

Maybe combined, a maximum of 5. 5 million. I say this because APC also appear to have their own coalition in the offing with APGA. If you don't believe me, look at how LP have totally unravelled in gubernatorial elections, even in the SE. PDP are in an even worse situation, they are just matured enough not to be washing their dirty linen in public. Atiku doesn't realise that even his people are fed up of him being put forward all the time. APC/APGA - 10 milla Atiku/Obi - 5 milla The voting numbers will drop dramatically. |

Perhaps after the loss again this arrogance would be gone but too late The number of foolish voters far outnumber those who vote truelly based on merits as far as Nigeria is concerned. Pls answer the question:How is PO going to cancel Tinubu advantage from the North?Or cos last time I checked Tinubu is actively trying to checkmate him in the south bentenny: |

kmst:Arrogance or justification?😃 From belittlement to arrogance! That seems like an indirect elevation which PO and his supporters more than deserve for their astonishing feat in 2023! You PDP fanboys should go back to 2022 and see what you guys said about Obi and his supporters! 'just four people tweeting inside a room' 'Paperweight politician' 'Structureless party' 'Obi will not even win his ward let alone his LGA' 'Obi will come a distant 3rd' Obi supporters have heard nothing different! Same old stale narrative about how will Obi be able to defeat Tinubu in the north or south...how did he defeat Tinubu and apc in almighty Lagos state? What PDP has been unable to do! How did he sweep almost all south east votes that traditionally went to PDP? One final question.....before the 2023 election, aside Ortom of Benue state, which other state governor had voiced their support for Obi? Yet he got 11 states and Abuja in less than 8 months in an unknown party? Lastly,if the coalition doesn't want Obi to be flagbearer,he can do it on his own and if he loses? There is no problem! He will simply travel to the Maldives and enjoy himself with his wife while those who love suffering by voting apc again will enjoy it's 'benefits'! If that's arrogance,I will wear it like an agbada any day!🥱🥱 |

hatchy:Igbos have learnt their lessons? No!!!! I doubt sir. The lesson igbos need to learn is not to force Obi to stoop so low to pick a VP position so as to be elevated later. And for the record, that is not how to build bridges. Igbos are not even in agreement with thier backdoor neighbours(south south). Did you think someone like Atiku would agree to hand over power to Obi in 2031? |
| Re: On 2027, A Call To Action For All Obidients Alike by kmst(op): 11:39am On May 21, 2025 |
Ofcourse he has nothing to loose It's the ordinary Nigerians that will have to fall back to Tinubu in anguish so why then pledge to serve them if he intends to loose and go back on vacation? Like I said, Tinubu is going all out on PO southern votes, the only way out for PO is to have a far better than the paltry 15% he got from the north in 2023 No one will give him that if he doesn't aligne with a popular northerner. This is time for alignment and not chest beating! Btw I'm not a pdp fanboy before you call me one! But I see how realistic things are going forward. Personally I believe whoever between OBi or Atiku that leads will not be a terrible president But saying PO or nothing means saying he should go back to Anambra while the rest of Nigerians continue suffering from the pain of APC. PO cannot have the presidency on all his terms, that's why it's a national election and not regional election Fgs And that's why it's a process of negotiations not forcing terms on other people! In negotiations you loose some and you bargain for the best outcome even if it's not wholly or totally everything you wanted. Same goes for Atiku, the only reason PO should back out is if Atiku tries to play tricks and I believe PO should know him to well for that at this stage. PO may win other regions again like Ss and SE but should Tinubu have a free day in the North, he is going back to Anambra and this time forever because the hawks will make sure he never touches or comes close again! bentenny: |

Yes, all this propaganda about Atiku is all APC lies from the pit of hell Atiku may not be a saint but he is more than someone that will keep to an agreement if all goes well Atiku is the only Strong northern politician that has had a nationalistic view on things on Nigeria for a long time. Once there's a written agreement, there's no hiding for him. Jokay07: |
| Re: On 2027, A Call To Action For All Obidients Alike by Jokay07(m): 11:56am On May 21, 2025 |

| Re: On 2027, A Call To Action For All Obidients Alike by bentenny(m): 1:05pm On May 21, 2025 |
kmst:We keep hearing about this same old Tinubu stale moves trying to 'steal' southern votes....isn't that what we heard during the 2023 election? The question you should be asking is....has the lives of the average southerner been better off since Tinubu became president? Are his own people in the SW not weeping about how Tinubu's presidency has no favoured them? So how will Tinubu get southern votes when their lives have gotten worst since he took charge? What have Tinubu done in terms of health, education and pulling people out of poverty in the SE,SS and SW? Are they better off now than they were during the regime of Buhari? These are the questions you should be asking! You guys keep looking at politics based on the decamping of a governor or senator or house of rep member to a ruling party as evidence to determine where or how the citizens will vote! This sort of political inclination is not only illogical but totally outdated! That brand of politics no longer works anymore in Nigeria! If that were the case,Obi would never have gotten up to a million votes in the last election based on your analogy! Most of you with this kind of regressive mindset had prior to the 2023 election discarded Obi as nothing without a big political party structure! Its not by force to please the north and Atiku doesn't even command the required votes from the north as evidenced in the last election! So what's his electoral value being flagbearer? The only reason why some PDP fanboys keep believing Atiku is simply because he is a northerner! However, how come a southerner was able to get 63% of northern votes despite having a northerner on the ballot like Atiku? Finally,Just so you know that the moment Obi signifies interest in being a VP to Atiku,he will not only lose 70% of his support base,he will become politically irrelevant while those who had accused him of being desperate and no different from an average politician will be justified! Won't that make him useless to Atiku?😂 Hence,it's either Obi as flagbearer or nothing! Win or lose! |

Allow them to continue with the stronghead We would be here to see how PO alone win against Tinubu and his machinery in the SW and North should the alliance fail. Maybe by then everyone will still continue wailing like we are used to doing! PO lost last elections even though there was rigging because he had a poor performance in the North. If he had even upto 30% from the North he would have won regardless of the rigging! I think he himself knows that already that's why he has been trying to get more connected to the North within this 2yrs. If PO doesn't get Northern alliance done because of some of his stubborn supporters who think politics is a game of ego and chest beating...well that may be his end politically Hoelujohn: |
