The finished product has a unique taste, smooth viscosity and a sweet and fragrant scent. The villagers claim that the recipe is a secret which is jealously guarded and passed down from generation to generation.

I must admit that we are not creative in this part of the world. Asian countries visited Nigeria in the past, picked palm kernels home and planted them.

Today, they have developed machines for proficiently extracting the oil while we still focus on our crude methods that our forefathers taught us.

The worst palm oil is from South west.. oyo state precisely. very BAAAAAAD smell. it will mess up your food. After my service year . I ran back to east.... thank God

I think the main issue is lack of capital. Nigerians know machines are better than manual labor.
You can't do this on industrial scale without machines.

Did this back in the days in Iyede Delta state....

After removing the oil, the left over is what is the call palm oil cake.

I ask for one and the comform is PKC but this one is burnt looks sandy ashy.

Can that serve the same purpose or I will still need to find the marshy one?

I buy one at Monday market in maiduguri,use am cook egusi soup before I know it my soup dey form and come black.i have to remove my fish and meat and throw the soup away.Since that day I never buy red oil anyhow in the market.

In honesty, we should have advanced far from this method of processing Palm Oil.

.by now we should had mordenized palm oil processing machines and technology.. and constant electricity light supply is also needed and important in operating the machines.. This where they need government and their people representing them in the national assembly support

That is why the government should provide a conducive environment for businesses, palm oil processing industries to thrive, excel and expand.. constant electricity light supply also important for palm oil businesses like this
