Let me start by saying both and the other guy are living in two different world's. Righteousness is applying old testament tactics ( Ten plagues) and the other guy is using new Testament tactics ( Love, The messiahs preaching)

But let's be reasonable. What's the cause of the war between Israel and Palestine?
The idea of loving your enemy is logical.
I mean someone comes to your house to attack you with cloak's and daggers, guns and you are just there, standing and smiling telling him. Bro. I love you! Is that not foolishness.

We have to wake up. When Jesus preached love it was in the context of communal love. That since your neighbour has no evil intention towards you, you should love him as well.
But we are in a hostile world. Where everyone will use the slightest opportunity to either cheat, use or kill you.
When you start talking about love to me I start suspecting you. At the mention of trust I start watching you carefully.
