The only player who can defend well on that block is Rijkaard and I love defensive stability. In a 4:2:3:1, I'll start him as my DM in a double pivot with Yaya Toure. In the #10 role I'll play Zidane but I feel Iniesta offers more control. Yaya stopped playing as a DM when he left Barca in 2009/2010. Paired with Barry, Dejong, Fernandinho and sometimes played as a 10 since he moved to city.

4:3:3. Iniesta...Rijkaard....Yaya is my choice.

AM is not where control comes from. An AM is someone who burst opposition defensive lines not controlling the ball, and Iniesta was both a poor controller and a poor attacker

On my formation, it was a flat 4:3:3 with Iniesta as the LCM, Yaya as RCM and Rickard as the CDM. The job of Yaya here was the box to box. Iniesta and Yaya are my double 8 here. I completely forgot about KDB and have since removed Yaya for him.

In a 4:2:3:1 where 10 exist, it's a different scenario.
