Which fintech or app can I use to make international payment?

I have Access bank dollar card and I just deposited cash USD but unfortunately it doesn't work, reach out to the bank and I was told I can't use the money for online payment because it was deposited by cash, strange 🙃.
Now my Dom acc seems useless to me!

How about just entering with the right visa in the first place? Tourist visa, visitor visa—same thing.

Even though you have a 10-year visa, you're only allowed to stay for a maximum of 6 months per entry. Anything beyond that on a visitor visa means you've overstayed.

So let’s work with the 6-month limit.

You’ll be looking for admission into a school. The average admission process takes time. Even if you get accepted quickly, you’ve already lost some of that 6-month window.

Applying for a study permit from inside Canada currently takes about 5 weeks, but we all know IRCC can take much longer—let’s say 2 months realistically.

And IRCC isn’t stupid. They can sense when someone’s trying to game the system.

So again, why not just apply for a study visa from the start?

Hello Everyone, my sister put in her application last year July, we made sure to keep checking her portal almost everyday but later stopped actively checking early feb when there was no movement. They sent her PPR on Feb 19th but there was no do not reply email notification whatsoever even in spam, she just checked her profile yesterday and found the ppr, now it is past the 30days. Please what can she do about it? Who has been in this position before and what did you do ?

I submitted my application on January 13, 2025. My current TRV was set to expire on April 10, 2025, which coincided with the expiration date of my biometric validity. I thought making an early application before the expiration of my current visa would improve my chances.

After submission, I checked online for information on how to renew my biometrics before they expired but couldn't find any clear guidance. Instead, I stumbled upon information about making additional payments. I made the payment, obtained the receipt, and uploaded it via a web form.

About a month later, I received a response from Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) inquiring about the purpose of the payment. I explained the situation.

May 2, 2025: I received a call from my bank asking if I had used my statement for a visa application, as IRCC needed to verify the information.

May 13: I received a notification stating that my biometrics had expired. I was worried, thinking that the web form submission was a waste of time and money. However, on May 14, at around 2 a.m., I received a Biometric Validity Letter (BVL) instruction. I booked an appointment for the same day and completed my biometrics.( na rush hour them born me,i dey always rush everything)

May 20 which is today: PPR request around 6:30 a.m. I just de come back from VFS as I de type like like this. No time to check time

Pls I just got admitted to NorQuest college in Canada, sept 5 is the resumption date, paid the tuition deposit and I’m currently waiting for the attestation letter

My question is that, with the resumption date being September 5
Can I start my student permit application early June and still get the visa before September?

Upfront medicals is on may 28

I work in a bank. showed 6m in Money market, 3k dollar, $ investment.
After rejection some1 said the money must be in cash in ur account.
Any advice from the house is welcome.
Also do i need to apply for gmc note.

Previous UK visit visa. then Active temporary residence (global talent) that live in nigeria (dont ask why i refuse to reloacte when i have visa). Been to uk every year for the past 3yrs including this yr.

Exactly what they said in my refusal letter, I mean word for word exact and I applied from the UK where I live, I just laughed.

If you go on Facebook or join private Telegram groups, you’ll see people selling you a dream — telling you that claiming asylum in Canada is easy, that you’ll have no issues, and that the government will even give you money just for applying.

In the name of Jesus Christ, or whoever you believe in, please do not come to Canada with the mindset of claiming asylum.

That process can ruin your life and keep you in limbo.

You will wait 2–4 years just to get a court date, and all the money you earn during that time will go straight to immigration lawyers — who will milk you dry.
You’ll find yourself running from one Nigerian church to another, begging for help. And trust me, those Nigerian pastors abroad will use you to clean the church from top to bottom.

IRCC only allowed it because of their daughter. But make no mistake: he was deported in 2019 I believe he came back last year 2024.


If you’ve ever been ordered to leave a country or deported — even if you later became a citizen of that country — when applying for an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA) or visa for countries like the UK, US, or in Europe, you will still be required to answer Yes to the question: Have you ever been ordered to leave or deported from any country?

This is because during the asylum process, you are often issued a Removal Order — even if it’s not immediately enforced. That Removal Order stays on your record.

As a result, many countries may deny you visa-free access, even if your passport would normally qualify for it.

Side Note:

This is a hidden consequence that many people are not aware of. Having a Removal Order on your immigration record can affect your ability to travel freely for life. Even after gaining citizenship, some countries will see you as a high-risk traveler and may restrict or deny entry.

So again — think long and hard before you go down the asylum route based on false promises.
