In a surprising display of interfaith harmony, an Osun worshipper popularly known as "Iya Osun" was spotted dancing and singing with a pastor at a crusade held at Bisi Market in Ado Ekiti on Thursday, May 22, 2025.

Despite being fully dressed in her traditional Osun attire, Iya Osun seemed to be fully immersed in the praise and prayer session, showcasing a moment of unity and shared spirituality.

The event, themed "Weep not," was organized by Praise and Prayer Winners Global Ministry, and appears to have brought people together in a celebration of faith and worship.

If truly it is a HolyGhost led crusade, although she went there as Iya Osun, she ought to leave as a born-again sister, as it was with the church of Peter after Pentecost!

By the ways of her faith and religion, there is nothing wrong with what she did. The Orishas in Yoruba land neither against nor reject going to church. If you have interest to go to church as a devotee of Òrìṣà, you are free. Go and come back to your Òrìṣà and the Òrìṣà will still answer you. Non of her fellow traditionalists will castigate or condemn her. It is only foreign religions that preach enmity and inclusiveness. If you as a Christian or Muslim attend any program not of your faith, your fellow believers will outcast you and their teachings claim you are not serving God

I disagree! The teaching of Christianity says the only way to serve God is by being a Christian. If you don't believe in Jesus, you are not serving God. Jesus is the only true way. That a lone is intolerance.

That is not the teaching of our forefathers. The Christianity preaches against other religions. Take for instance, God will perish those who do Orishas.

But our forefathers never has such beliefs against any religion. If you go to pastors to pray for you, Before God can answer your prayers, you must believe in Jesus and follow him. You must reject whatever religion you practice if not Christianity. That's according to the Christians.

If you want the help of Òrìṣà, you won't be ask to change your church or your faith . Nothing concern our traditions with the religion you belong to. That's tolerance!

The bold is the problem. You see every other person not a Christian as not serving God. That's intolerance.

The traditionalist don't do violence for their faith and even better.

All the attributes (self control, tolerance etc) that you mentioned are the values that our forefathers upheld and preached on the basis of morals and NOT religion. They did this far before Christianity arrived. Those attributes don't belong or originated with Christians even though they preached it. Our forefathers practiced them long time ago.

The land that the churches are built were given to the Christians by our forefathers who are Olorisas. That's religion tolerance. Christians can't do that

Why not the other way round as many are doing in Brazil, Cuba etal? Or is it that, for you, everything imported to Africa from overseas is better?

I hope he is smart enough to know that...where Christianity is concerned, it is Christ or nothing. Only one way to the father. Some people thought they could practice Christianity and other religions , out of ignorance in the form of tolerance. Today, they are no where...
