As i remember the INNOSON/GTB issue, the wicked and anti-Igbo Buhari gov’t was going after INNOSON through the instrumentality of their attack dog EFCC! The INNOSON chairman was even arrested at some point and his lovely wife slapped! INNOSON had claimed GTB was owing them money which the bank was refusing to pay, and the issue went as far as the Supreme Court, which saw judgement going in INNOSONs favour! I don’t know the status of the debt presently….whether GTB has paid up or whether an out-of-court settlement was agreed by both parties!

At no point did any known Igbo moniker go on social-media to spread a false narrative that GTB was owing INNOSON way more than was actually the case…was on the verge of bankruptcy because of said debt….or that one of the largest shareholders in the bank was seeking an audience with INNOSON so they could dobale and beg for leniency over the said debt! These were the lies recently spread against Peter Obi and Fidelity Bank by Tinubus’ e-thugs, minions and acolytes, done out of pure malice and in the name of dirty politics!
