The number one reason why we have different arms of government is to keep "checks and balances" .

If everything the executive does is right and automatically approved by the legislation then it's about the time we shed the country of this arm of government and safe the huge cost used in running it.

Thank you very much, some people believe executive and legislative arms must be shooting at each other before they believe they are working. A successful executive that will record any tangible success must have cordial relationship with the legislators and that's how it is in other democracy practicing countries. Buhari who doesn't care who became SP in his first term has to make sure Saraki didn't return as SP in his second term, otherwise he wouldn't have recorded any tangible success.

When Peter Obi becomes president, we will upgrade the vibrancy of the National Assembly.

For now we all have to manage this Arabian National Assembly which is like a branch of the royal family.

Don’t confuse noise for progress. Under Jonathan, things weren’t perfect, but people could at least afford basic necessities, and the economy wasn’t this brutal.

Tinubu’s Assembly is fumbling with half-baked policies that are wrecking livelihoods. Inflation is out of control, the naira is collapsing, and insecurity is worse.

If this is your idea of ‘doing better,’ then you’ve clearly lowered the bar to the floor. Nigerians don’t need leaders who are ‘trying’—they need ones who actually deliver.

The local content was beneficial to the South South. No be everything be road and bridges. Some are policies.

I know firsthand, about 30 people that got good jobs via that singular policy and are doing well today.
