Why do our politicians find it so easy to defect from one party to another, without even feeling any sense of responsibility to the people who put them there? Could it be because these parties NEVER even have any party ideology or social identity? Maybe they never really feel they are tied to a certain principle which defines their beliefs in how the people want to be governed? There seems to be a paradox somewhere.... If votes count, parties won't matter. If parties were the main thing then does that mean our votes don't you know? Imagine a Democrat defecting to Republican party after every major election and vice versa 😑 |

The parties have no ideologies... The politicians are without principles. Parties are seen as just a means of contesting elections! |

Because we have politicians who are true and sincere with themselves and know where power is heading to. Sometimes, you just have to face the reality! No way Tinubu won’t rule till 2031. Contesting against him is ABSOLUTE waste of time. |

HacheNoire:That's the problem with your lots. Idealogies and principles are not about winning. You didn't see Trump defect to the Democrats just because an endorsement from Obama could give him victory. And the guts you have to tie the choice of the masses as being of no consequence because of the ambitions of one man. |
