I'm not an engineer but that stair will collapse in no time. Too long at a stretch
Re: Engineers, What Kind Of Staircase Is This ? by Caramia2020(m): 11:38am On May 25, 2025
There's nothing abnormal about the staircase, but the engineer should have put pillar at the middle for enforcement.

It's either an "I have too much cement" staircase or a punishment staircase.

I think that staircase needs pillers to reinforce it.
Re: Engineers, What Kind Of Staircase Is This ? by Damlesky(m): 11:42am On May 25, 2025
Single flight/straight run staircase... Nothing wrong with the design and execution.

The problem for this type of staircase is it may be tiring for users because there's no rest till you get to the top.

True

It would have been safer if the landing is midway.
The structural risers and goings of the staircase would be safe and be at a standard of 150 mm and 300 mm respectively. The continuous stretch of the slab could result to structural stress and strain despite the connection of slab reinforcement to the beams.

Straight or flight staircase (Alternative or anterior escape stairs).

Though it looks so unsafe in the picture, because there's no middle column to share and redistribute the load underneath the stairs.

It is called "One kilometre express" it was first discovered in 1683 AD. When the barbarians always disturbed their emperor with fight settlements.
The Emperor's architect in pity, deviced a way to discourage the barbarians to disturb the Emperor's peace. So he created the staircase, "one kilometre express " Since that day, the visits started reducing until no one came to weary the emperor again. By the time any of the barbarians finished climbing Upandan, they start panting for breath.

ONE KILOMETRE EXPRESS
