I will give you a pass on your obtuse reasoning because it is easy to confuse yourself that others share the same daft views as yourself.

Bottom line is that the incompetent bat needs to be shown the way out in 2027.
Incoherent weak defense. Shift abeg

They won't remove him, they will just run him closer than if they appeared individually.

Atiku is not liked in North West and Central, he has blocked the path of some of their politicians wit his repeated candidature. Obidients have destroyed Peter Obi in the South South with their lack of decorum.

Atiku and Obi would not get that 6 million combined this time round.
Its baseless arguing with you.

You are the one having a panick attack and foaming at the mouth trying to defend the incompetence of bat.

If Mr. Obi is not desperate for power then he should stop chasing it. Let him stop running from pillar to post everyday of the week, mind his business and wait for Nigerians to bring the power to him. grin angry grin

DMerciful:
Obi need just about 8% of Nigeria population to win. Nigerians cannot muster this number regardless of what APC does?
The voting population in Nigeria is about 93m and the average turnout for elections in Nigeria averages about 48% (cumulative). So your calculation might be off.

And with the present socio-political dynamics, obi cannot win a head to head with bat.

That is a reality those who want bat out have to accept. If obi is not ready to drop his ego for the good of Nigerians, bat will win by a wide margin in 2027.

So you're saying if the coalition supports Obi, he cannot win? If so why?

1. Announce your readiness and willingness to serve in the current government and subsequent ones.
2. Leave the turf for Atiku.
3. Start and operate an NGO focused on advocating for good governance.
4. We will then believe you.

1. The north will not support another southerner who might do 8 years after bat. Remember, by 2027, the South would have been in power for 18 years while the north has done 11 years (I.e. from 1999). The north would rather allow bat finish his tenure and by 2031 and get power then for 8 years.

2. Atiku is going to run in 2027. Bat, atiku and obi on the ballot will be a repeat of 2023 presidential election.

3. Obi does not have the financial muscle to go against bat and he has not shown that he has the capacity to attract the needed money bags to support his campaign.

4. Labour Party has been nullified as a viable vehicle for obi's ambition or even as an opposition bastion. All the opposition parties, individually, are too weak to stand up independently to bat.

5. Through no fault of his, obi has been casted as an Igbo agenda, and that narrative is not changing anytime soon. One way to diminish it, is to put the interest of Nigerians first. He might not reap the benefits of that sacrifice by becoming president, but 100% guaranteed, the north will support a candidate from the south east in 2031 or 2035.

Obi needs to understand that to put Nigeria on the track of 'working', the present disaster at the centre must be voted out.

So, if Obi truly has the interests of Nigerians at heart, he needs to join hands with Atiku and others in the opposition so as to present a formidable force to remove bat.

Anything less will be an exercise in futility.
People keep talking about removing PBAT but forgot that this same Atiku and obi has being in government and Thier best services then were seriously poor and non productive. Many States ows salaries for several months and strikes everywhere ASU, Medicals etc for lact of resources . Indebtedness was very high. So now , no state is owing salaries, debts are being serviced and massive projects are being executed.

So what exactly is Obi saying or his people are expecting from him if he replaces PBAT, God forbid backwardness.

For corruption, most Nigeria is corrupt either directly or indirectly or through relations abusing off office for financial or other forms of corruption.

What was Buhari's positive credentials when you people supported him against GEJ?

Buhari had overseen one of the worst socio-economic crisis in nigeria (before bat surpassed it by a mile) in the 80s. He even served the worst despot in Nigeria’s history. Bat described him in terrible terms. Yet, not only was he the face of the opposition in 2015, he got a 2nd term...

States do not owe because the salary is almost worthless. N18,000 in 2014 could do far more than what N70,000 could do today.

Mind you, while state governors had issues with salary payments due to thier own recklessness, the private sector had no such issues and the private sector accounts for 80% of the Labour force in nigeria.

Now that state governments can pay the heavily devalued salaries, the private sector is reeling. The job losses are unprecedented.

So which situation has more negative implications? A satisfied government workers' population of about 15m or a struggling private sector labour force of over 72m?

Bottom line is that BAT has performed worse overall and needs to go. If the person that takes over performs badly, such a person will be booted out too.

The present evil must be expunged, the consequences will be dealt with later.

Lets see how it goes. Whoever the coalition throws up we support. If the coalition throws Obi and he makes a commitment of one term and the North refuses to support him, nothing we can do.

In your own words - he is a private citizen. He has nothing to do with how millions of Nigerians are living their lives, day to day. He is not in office and Nigerians have nothing to ask of him. He isn't working for them.

You criticize Peter Obi for using IDP camps to propagate his political career. But if the Tinubu administration were doing its job, there wouldn't be any IDP camps to be used for 'mischief' by Obi (or any other opposition politicians for that matter).

Focus on the real issues.

Mayb he should allowed on rest from his opinions if he doesn't want to be challenged as a private citizen.

Also, that there are IDP camps doesn't mean we shouldn't discuss other things. We can't wait till Nigeria is utopia before discussing things.

The politics is what it is, sentiments cannot replace the realities of the sociopolitical dynamics in nigeria.

There are only 2 options, obi either works with the north or bat continues.
