Obidients Meet Target Amount For An Obidient's Surgery In 48 Hours by DesChyko(op): 6:45pm On May 25, 2025
At midday on Friday, 23rd of May, popular Obidient @EmirSirdam took to X to call attention to the plight of Mummy Madonna, an energetic Obidient who recently became bedridden was in need of a spine surgery to the tune of 5.9 million.

Obidients rallied to the cause, pooling resources together to rally for one of their own. In 48-hours, the target was surpassed, and Emir Sir Dam promptly made that public.

God bless the Obidients Movement and we wish Mummy Madonna a quick recovery. ❤️

A fair one

Doesn't change anything. Politics and Governance is about Administrative brilliance, not charity funding.

Realistically speaking, there are more people in that hospital that needed help too, so how feasible is it to go round all hospitals paying for surgical operations of all the patients in there? - Very impractical!

So, that others aren't doing this doesn't make them a cruel group

Lastly,a group that cares about the well-being of only it's members is a hypocritical one.

They'd not have helped if they weren't Obidients

YES,

just the wicked leaders we have, Nigerians love each other cross board but for the divide and rule tactics our leaders are employing which so many are refusing to realize.

rather than see the good in this you are but seeing nothing than how their effort is amounting to nothing.

I know you are proud of those sharing cup of rice during election. shame.

EvilMerodack:
I said it's a fair one. I acknowledge it but I can see your movement trying to relate this to what "Good Governance" would look like and I try to show it isn't

Your last assumption or projection has nothing to do with me. Na everybody wey no like una dey share rice.
na everybody wey no support us dey share rice o. lol. at no point in that post was this kind gesture linked to governance, you might go through again.

beside the info isn't meant for everyone consumption but those that align with the vision and mission of the obedient movement. earlier you said something about politics and governance being about administration, I stand firm to disagree this.

politics is about the fight for positions which ends right immediately after the election process (but in Nigeria politics continues even in administration.) governance is about administration (distribution of scarce resources - who get what.)

the place of opposition isn't about politics but checks and balances, like pressure groups will do, same way an opposition becomes a pressure generator for the control party after election but here in Nigeria it is all politicized.

Eyahhhhh.....if only a 'new anambala' were possible during his 8-year stint as anambala state governor.

Ordinary one school he nor build; doctors went on strike for 13 months during his regime. But all of a sudden he has d magic wand to all of Nigeria''s 'plobrem'.

1. He did not build one school, he renovated and funded hundreds of schools. And in 2025, 19 years after he started his governorship stint, his model is being adopted by one of your best brains.

2. Indeed the doctors went on strike, a great deal because of Peter Obi's refusal to have all Anambra's eggs in one basket. And the state is better for it today. Private and Public health sector advancing at equal pace. It's only a matter of time before another adopts this model again.

You know what they say about posterity being the judge 😌

That’s very kind of them.

His Excellency, President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu (GCFR) on different occasions, has emphasized on the need to help and support the needy.

This is a good gesture coming from fellow Nigerians.

Administrative brilliance is creating high inflation and making Nigerians more poorer?

So, the movement should abandon one of its own to appease fulls and never do gooders like yourself, who subsist on gaslighting everything that puts the failure in Abuja to shame?.

If your failure lord and savior in Aso rock did his job, do ordinary people need to pull funds for what appears to be a routine procedure?. You sef get sense at all?.

They are fellow Nigerians all of a sudden?. You would call them all manners of derogatory names otherwise.

By the way, that 150 million dollars Tinubu unnecessarily spent on an unneeded aircraft and the billions spent renovating the useless VP house would have built two reference health facilities that would adequately cater to situation such as being discussed with subsidized healthcare to boot.

I suspect you will you agree with me and "fellow Nigerians " that Tinubu is useless.

“not about charity funding” right? And you have a ministry of humanitarian affairs? How in simple English can you define the role of that Ministry please? And by the way, an APC minister was sacked in less than one year after inauguration for embezzlement.

Between the minister who stole public funds that was supposed to meet the needs of the citizens and Obidients, who raised such funds in 48 hours from their private pockets, who did better? Who should be commended for administrative brilliance?

If that same minister used part of the public resources embezzled to support those in hospitals, who would be commended?

So humanity does not transcend having public funds at your disposal, stealing the funds to enrich yourself, your family and friends? If it was not for humanity, where would such a lady find such assistance, in a country where public hospitals are disgraceful, grossly underfunded and the President jets off to France frequently to take care of his medical needs?

U mean one of the Obidients that said Tinubu is frail and would die soon?
Many that said same about Buhari are dead now and Muhammadu is hale and hearty.
Life all about lessons.
