Wife asked Hubby to Close his Eyes, Then Opens His Throat Instead — 9 Days After Wedding in Kano

Kano residents are still recovering from shock after what was supposed to be a romantic "close your eyes" moment turned into a horror movie scene — all just 9 days after saying "I do."

Saudat Jibrin Adam, a newlywed bride in the Farawa area of Kumbotso LGA, allegedly told her husband, Salisu Idris Ibrahim, to close his eyes for a “special surprise.” But instead of cake or kisses, sis brought out a knife and cut him on the neck

A neighbour, Dini Mada, said he rushed over after hearing the commotion and found Salisu clutch!ng his neck like he just watched a Nollywood thriller in 4D.

“I asked who did this, and he whispered, ‘Dini, na my wife.’ Bro couldn’t believe he was being turned into a crime documentary before his one-week anniversary.”

Salisu sadly didn’t survive the attack. Reports say the bride locked herself inside and was calmly making phone calls when police found her, probably updating her “relationship status” to it's complicated... and bloody.
