I Know I'm a Chelsea fan but the truth is yamal doesn't come close to Salah.

Salah won the playmaker award for most assists

Failing to get Delap, we should look in the sub £40m range cos nobody priced above that is worth it in the market today. We can pick up Jonathan David for free or get our boy Emegha from Stratford while we wait for the right option to materialise. As of now, I think Delap is going to Manure

He started boudaying every ball in the last 10 games of the season and we stopped conceding cheap goals. He is actually a superb goalkeeper with his hands, it's his feet that is the problem. If he was in a different generation, he may be rated up there with the best keepers

totally agree.Mr lukaku sold us dreams with his heavy price tag and we know what that costs us..one of the heavy losses in football till date.On osimhen, good striker no doubt but let's keep a low profile in terms of cost
I don't see anything wrong with delap.Decent price tag, good profile, suits the system and a striker who has eyes for goals.He would come good...so, seconded( I support your opinion)

Na wentin happened to real Madrid last season go later happened to Barca this season, last year Balon d'or shout started with Bellingham, and suddenly we start hearing vinicius. Any Balon d'or shout in Barca should be for Raphinha only, Yamal is still young and he will surely win it, but not this season.

Dembele and Raphinha are the two likely winners depending on the UCL final outcome.

Check that boy’s consistency first. A player who almost never had a bad game. He is an incredible midfielder and by far the best midfielder in the world.

I don't doubt Pedri's quality, he is consistently good even injury doesn't take much away from him, but it goes to show that stats isn't the main criteria for those who vote player of the year

he made tremendous progress in 2025, as they say the only way when one's down is up. Dude was so poor initially then he improved but I still want petrovic back and Mike penders on loan to Strasbourg. Dont even know what becomes of Jorgenson next season. Close eye sell Sanchez, bank on his good form

From what I've seen of Delap, he thrives more on counter attack football. Leicester sit deep and counter. At least, that's what they played against us and that why Delap was so dangerous in both legs.... I'll love to see him in the dominating team, trying to break down a defence sitting deep....Not all those "on the run" one on one occasions where he bulldoze his way past defenders.

The strength needed to bulldoze makes it even better to bully in the box so long as his touch is good which it is.

A good strong striker is always better when the play is in the box. That's how Drogba was able to score 33 goals under Ancelotti just playing in the box after being typecast as a counterattack only striker

What you don't want is a striker that can't play outside the box or doesn't have legs to drive into the box, putting tactical limitations on you.

I always prefer players that give tactical flexibility and I hate specialists, that's why I hate most no 10s and jogging DMs like Jogginghoe and Enzo Fernandez

Yes, Lukaku sold us dreams, but Tuchel and Havertz happened to him. That's not to say we should go for expensive striker again cus i also love them cheap and Delap is a very good option.
