The suspect who allegedly duped a boutique of N150,000 worth of goods in Ado Ekiti has been apprehended in Ikere Ekiti.

The man, who was captured on CCTV footage deceiving the salesgirl, was tracked down and caught by authorities. The suspect is currently in custody, and further investigation is underway.

The successful arrest brings relief to the boutique owner and serves as a warning to would-be scammers in the state.

I know he was going to be caught. Don't underestimate the effectiveness of cctv surveillance system. Crimes are bursted with the help pf cctv. You own a business or have a house you're building, remember to install one. Dont wait for police. Make police work easier for them.

You're right. Some people will ignorantly question the use of cctv because it doesn't catch a thief on site . This guy might be a serial thief that's been going from shop to shop and this shop was his last.
CCTV has saved many innocent lives from going to prison for crime they know nothing about.
Small business owners install cctv. Farm, construction site, restaurant, barbing salon, school, hospital, parks, homes etc banks etc
