Wike Inspects Life Camp–Karmo Road Ahead Of Tinubu’s Anniversary Projects by shrinkchido(op): 2:38pm On May 28, 2025

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, today inspected the ongoing construction of the road linking Life Camp to Karmo, affirming that the project is nearing completion.

The infrastructure project, which was flagged off in October last year, is among several earmarked for commissioning to mark President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s second year in office.

Wike, speaking during the inspection, expressed satisfaction with the pace and quality of work, emphasizing the administration's commitment to improving urban mobility and infrastructure across the FCT.

“This road is a key connector for residents and commuters. We’re ensuring that projects like this reflect value for money and directly benefit the people,” the minister stated.

The Life Camp–Karmo road is expected to ease traffic flow and enhance access within the growing residential and commercial hubs in Abuja’s city outskirts.
