PEP does not mean the guy has the virus.

OK let's explain when PEP is taken. It is taken within 72 hours of exposure. And exposure is not just by seggs...it can be by needle stick injury or cut in the hand while working with the virus.(Especially seen among health workers...which is why if a wife of a health worker sees PEP with her husband or the husband of a female health worker...they know their spouse had an accident at work, and is probably still upset and scared to talk about it).

Calm down. What you did was very wrong—committing adultery. However, just be calm . Make sure you are not positive, finish the PEP, and go for screening after 14 days. Tell your wife to take it easy.
