Haisic has 24v 280ah for 800k but its not with smart BMS.Youc an talk to @valtoand @Mr reed to build a 5kw for you but with less than million naira , you can conveniently get a 7kw 24v with smart BMS from @MrReed.I dont know the current price for @valto
Thanks a lot. How many hours will a 3.6kwh or 5kwh lithium battery last me with a load of about 300w?

Where did you get the tbb from in Nigeria?....
Penuelseun:
Na valto introduce me to tbb as far back as Jan 2022, I have installed over 15 units of their old inverters

AndroBlaze:
Yes. That's their 4kw battery that Dam5reey tested earlier which was actually 3.6kw.
Who is selling this and how much?

House, can anyone recommend to be the ideal 5-6kva inverter I can get for my 48v system?
It is going to be used completely off grid and will occasionally power a pump.

Pls I need recommendations based on personal experience.
I appreciate.

@Penuelseun you have not still answered my question regarding the wifi logging dongle. Hope they gave you when you bought the inverter.

Rumplesteelskin:
Yes, that’s what all my tests are pointing to.

For context: Before the Haisic battery arrived, I was using a custom-built lithium battery with my 3kVA hybrid inverter and 24V solar setup. With eight 200W solar panels on the roof, I could charge the battery from 24V in the morning to 29.2V by 1–3 PM, depending on sunlight.

The Haisic arrived and got stuck at 27.2V on day one. I initially thought the issue was charging current. My inverter supports 30A for AC charging, the charge controller is rated 60A, and the battery’s recommended charge current is 40A. So, I ruled out current as the problem.

Did a drain test, still stuck at 26.8-27.2 V after hours of charging. Did the final test today, disconnected the inverter from the battery, and the inverter went straight to 29.1 V, while the charge controller that is connected to the battery shows 26.8 V. So, I have ruled out the inverter limiting the charge current.

My guess is either the BMS is faulty or one or more cells are weak. Order the Coulomb meter posted here a few threads back, but it will take 3 weeks to get to me.
Did you used this battery alone? Or did you connect it to your previous setup?
If you connected it, was it in parallel or series?
I might understand what happened here and the fault most likely is not from the battery

My eyes don big sef

HeavenlyBang:
Damn, I don't think anyone else is making 24v in these capacities.

Going by recommendations here, top of the list are Deye and Growatt.

You can wait for more suggestions from others. Also, put a price range so suggestions can be made accordingly.

Not sure they are of the same chemistry, so, no. They are also not the same capacity. Connecting them will cause more issues for the newer battery, I think.

Yes they did, I didn't see a need to install it yet but maybe I will consider it

Put on the panel breaker. It should come on. At times, it won't display anything till it recognize panel input.
Panel successfully installed....
Charge controller woke immediately it sensed power from the panels.

But I have a new challenge. My batteries have not crossed 13.3v (3 bars). It stays at that voltage without getting to the 14.4v despite the huge power from the charge controller.
I don't know if there's a setting in the charge controller that is responsible for this.

fuckboys:
new felicity charge controllers dont draw power from the batteries only from your pv. youll have to connect it to pv to power it on
Batteries have refused to cross 13.3v.

I'm using the Lib battery type and it's bulk and float charge voltage is both 14.4v.

Please what is the price of a unit of 12v 220ah tubular battery and also 12/24v 2-3.5KWh lithium battery?

This is for educational purpose.

Very sexy! I need to take this automation business seriously!!
I am interested in your YAML file. I'm in your DM...

GloryJoyeux:
Final Setup

Programmed Home Assistant using YAML for various automation, and created sensors from mqtt stream from SA. InfluxDB for the database. It also shows live individual power consumption of each device in the house through smart plugs, HA integration and custom auto-entities.

My personal experience is it is no better than a Cworth battery and I would only recommend if you get an extremely low price or are buying multiple units.

If you will only buy one of the 12v 100ah and need full capacity, buy something else.

Why I managed to pull 100ah from Cworth is that the cells are 120ah with 100ah Left..

Their 200ah and 300ah no reach at all.

Taico has full capacity

Then do a capacity test and put it on your channel.

My experience with their 12v100ah is it has never done more than 1.2kw (usually 1.1kw) and I bought directly from the chinese sales manager in Alaba (she's pretty nice though).

Omo it's pricey oooo. As an experience user, does it worth the price, compared to other brands like Cworth, Firman etc

The battery has been around for a while and someone did a capacity test on the 12v 100ah lifepo4 battery on TikTok. The result was fantastic, it pulls 110ah from it. The Company is suffering from inadequate marketing.

Dam5reey1 sells the 12v 100ah for N220,000.00
Thank you boss. I really appreciate

Test from DC shunt or AC output?

Okay, I will get that done. Just didnt want to bother as someone did 110ah already.
