Gowon is to blame because he knew if the crimes of the ibos especially that which they committed on SS minorities during Biafra occupation were exposed , ibos would never have been allowed by other Nigerians back in the union talk more of settling in their midst.

As per the coup, David Ejoor stated categorically in an interview he granted a few years back before his death that the ibos led by Zik had been planning to take over Nigeria since independence day.

I have to commend you unity beggars. You guys spend so much time to come up with historical reasons as to why the British should have conducted a referendum in 1960 to dissolve their disastrous colonial contraption called Nigeria

They should have dissolved Nigeria and allowed every ethnic group to go their way, those who wish to merge, and create countries can then do so
