Nna2025:While prayer and good wishes are very needed in starting any business, the most important thing is to have the knowledge of the business. That business could be lucrative but very risky as most of Nigerian borrower are out to reap of the lender and vice versa. So you have to learn how to navigate it. If you have learnt and you convince that it's what you want to do, my advice is for you to make sure you get the required regulatory approval because in some cases you may need to get your money and interest back via litigation and if you are not registered, your interest can just go. That said, incase you decide to have a change of heart please do not listen to any to anyone advising on anything thing digital marketing or Forex here ooo. Anybody making money from those stuff will not have the time to come and advertise it for you. Majority marketing here are just targeting how to swindle people. |

Nna2025:People are making lost of money from the lending business, almost in an exploitative manner. We're talking about 4% interest monthly on cash that is on lockdown not to talk of expendable. You only need solid verification of being able to get your funds back in the event things go south. Having a connection with an account manager to verify the client's cashflow and ensure a debit clause can be put on the account in the event of default. You can also work with collaterals but of ocurse you do your due diligence. Ensure the client is the real owner and you have the right to take over the asset or sell it in if the client fails to deliver as stipulated in the contract. The magic lies in the process so you need to set the neccessary mechanisms in place. Best of luck |

Nna2025:You have my encouragement because there’s no venture without success and sometimes risk. I recommend seeking out a good lawyer who will guide you on the pros and cons because the relationship between the lender and borrower is strained most of the times. Good luck 👍 |

Am into the Business. The thing is Nigerians generally don't like paying back money borrowed. I will advice you can test the waters with say 1m .Please collect collateral also deal with civil servants more.Invest the other money in something else. |

You better go and look for 5 acre of land to plant palm kennel or coaco or banana. After three/four years. You will come back to say thank you. |

It's actually a very easy business to run. You have to just make sure they drop collateral three times the worth of the loan. For example if you want to loan 500k you must drop your iPhone 14:pro max. Etc etc |

Good day sir, I wish you well in your endeavor. Sir I beg of you, if you will be lending money to young and old small scale business owners. Please do well to educate your staffs to be respectful and polite in their debt recovery activities. This here was the reason I left a Microfinance because I couldn't withstand the constant bullying of customers especially older men and women by some COs. The way some COs harrass people old enough to mother and father them is scary, I can't stand seeing someone harrass my parents like that, so naturally I shouldn't harrass other people's parents but some COs care less, some go as far as naked defaulters, to what end I know it can be frustrating to COs because when your ledger is not balanced, when you have shortages, na your salary go hear am. But still on still, we should be civil when doing our respective jobs..... Anybody I tell I left a Microfinance job with salary of 120k for a security job of 45k will only but laugh at me, do I blame them? No, na only me understand my reason,my peace of mind supercedes the money I get when I know I have caused some people pains....... Once again I wish you well sir, your next post will be how you wished you had started this business earlier. |
