When I first stumbled on this pattern, I didn't really think anything of it until the sample size kept expanding. We are talking 20, 15, 13 years here.

At worst, if Inter lose, the Brazil and Spain mojo, the two longest surviving streaks, will still continue.

Call it superstition, but these things have a way of perpetuating themselves.

Same way no foreign coach has never won the FIFA World Cup. I just dey laugh England and Brazil.
