Maresca has been nothing short of a revelation. He took the team that terrible Poch used to finish 6th, all the way to 4th having spent additional millions on the squad. Top-notch improvement if you ask me. This squad will definitely rival PSG next season.

Inter where clearly out of practice. Simone had rested his team for the final game against Como FC knowing the reserves could do the job. The 2 week rest IMHO affected them negatively. They seemed tired and not in sync. I know everyone seems to figure everything out in hindsight, but he should have used his starters against Como as the 9-day rest would still have kept them fresh.

That said, they weren't going to beat PSG but the game would've been closer. Just that people were too focused on supporting the winner that it was hard to tell that PSG are not 5 unreplied goals better than Inter.
