Things Peter Obi Must Do Differently In 2027 by OredoPikin(op): 10:00am On Jun 01, 2025
"Rotimi Chubuike Amaechi is very important to any coalition that seeks to unseat Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He is the counterforce to whatever Wike can conjure up. But 2027 is unlike 2023.

This time? The Coalition will need 3 things:

1. The moneybags like the PDAPC
2. Ideological wing like the Obidients.
3. A militant wing like 2015 Opposition.

The coalition is going to be a mixed wine, perhaps soured. But wine nonetheless.

In Nigeria, you learn quickly, you adapt. No one will advise you, you have to figure it out on your own. You quickly realize there are certain things you can’t change. Nigeria leaves you with 3 choices: evolve, adapt or quit, you choose.

I know you are surprised to hear these type of things from the First Lady. But why not? I’m just being realistic. Ahmed Tinubu has corrupted everywhere & everything. He won’t play fair, he wants to win by any & every means necessary.

So he will have to be overwhelmed, perhaps bombarded from every direction. But Bola is not Jonathan, he’s not relenting, he too is strategizing. There are “rules of power,” & only the desperate knows how to wield it.

$21.5 billion is going to be part of his war chest. He bought INEC & the Judiciary, but this time? He will buy everything, including the gatemen at the gates. There is nothing stopping him now.

Knowing all of these & being the pacifist & the moralist that I am, I honestly don’t want Peter Obi to contest this time. But if he must, then he will have to enter into alliance with those he once preached against. Nigeria is not a moral place, you guys have no moral code.

I of all people have come to realize that.

If Prof Wole Soyinka (who we held in high esteem) can attend the commissioning of a 30/700km road, who am I? What possible difference can I make? Nigeria is not an ideal place, & morals don’t win anything.

There are no purists in Nigeria, no puritans. Those sects belong to religious groups. The closest you have is Peter Obi. He has super integrity, almost saintly. Even then, Nigeria is not ready for the type of things he preaches.

It is scary, even for some of us. It takes a certain type of man to preach. It gets even worse when you’re preaching up the wrong crowd. Nigerians used to be a family. That era is long gone, but we can unite again.

Nigerians don’t know how to fight collective battles. The last time we were close to family was EndSARS. It’ll be a long time before Nigeria sees any overarching theme like that. These are just my opinion, & I’m sure many of you agree.

In Nigeria, moralists don’t win, realists do."

Nobody is talking about winning
If election is conducted 1milion times and its free and fair, Tinubu will loose 1.2million times.
Anybody going against him in 2027, must match him equally in all area.
Thug for thug, fight for fight, propaganda for propaganda
Nigeria is not a moral ground
It is simply grab it at all cost.

You guys claimed the 2023 election was rigged yet you couldn't provide your proves at the court.

The 2027 election that's yet to be conducted, you guys have started shouting rigging meaning you are conceding defeat early

That means you people (APC) are counting on rigging.

Tinibu is no longer with the north neither is he with SS and SE. That is to say, how will he win if he decides to conduct a free and fair election since he has nothing to show as a project or good work?

Banking on hungry politicians that are defecting here and there to APC means, he is simply banking on massive rigging in 2027 because that is what those politicians has to offer him. That was what wike did for him in rivers state.
