My only fear now is if I disclose the reason for taking PEP, then my marriage is in danger.

What's usually administered to people are antibiotics which can counter the effect of your exposure. Nobody can know any specific drug that's for PEP. So, he's wife, if at all he's a man and married did not see any drug labeled PEP on it.

Just say someone coughed on you at work and it entered your eyes. A colleague told you he had hiv and you were so scared.
