The government is evil. There is no doubt about it.

But let's be real here. Those who spend wisely can get pets without abandoning the pets this period. The type that borrow money to buy cars or rent apartments in estates are definitely the ones abandoning their pets right now. Wise spenders will not go for pets when 1 or 5% of their savings (savings, not even income) is less than the cost of keeping the pets.

As a matter of fact, when did these people get these their pets? It is even clearly stated in the post that one of them was using 50% of her income to feed the pets. If someone spends 50% of his or her income on feeding pets, imagine how much the person spends in paying rent before talking about feeding and clothing oneself. I am not even talking about whether the person considers taking care of his or her relatives or not. The person probably cares about only himself or herself and dogs. And as the case may be, tell me why such a person will not remain a wretched tenant for life. It might even be that they didn't have the pets before 2016.
Na the fake life wey this administration dey talk about grin

Keep it local stick to local breed. I don't know why we have people that think like cows buying things. Buying local breed doesn't put you in any class.

You got the gist but failed to apply it....

They had dogs but things now are so expensive under your Personal Lord and Saviour of your Darling Daddy, that they abandoned the dogs ....

Even people living large in Ajah , Lekki , Maitama , can't keep ordinary dogs....

Nigerians purchasing power is gone, more tax and massive movement to APC in search of green pastures.... 😂 😂

Just to refresh your memory, I know you dnt need this explanation... grin grin grin

You clearly underestimate what it takes to care for another human being, let alone pets effectively. I am not even talking about a sick human or pet. There is no managing in this Tinubu era. Liabilities become real burden when survival is the goal.

pet owners isonu... You better switch to Nigerian Shepard aka ekuke. I own 1 and i no send him papa, it eats whatever i eat for that day and if i don't feed it it goes to the street to feed itself with anything including human shit. For those saying original german shepherd bark will make me shit and mess on my body don't you think mine always alert me when my house/wife's shop is being broken into? Of course it does so what else is special about oyinbo dogs except unnecessary billings

Not easy at all taking care of these pets.
Mine (4 of them) have learned to eat any food available now not just only foreign dog food alone.
