Now the court has decided and the LG lost.
The church should go back to the court and part of the prayers is to seize the LG allocations until this injustice is corrected.

This is worrisome and Nigerians should be very afraid of what is coming.

If this can happen to a church it can happen to anybody.

Imagine working ur ass out to build a property with all the legal papers and local govt just decided to demolish it one day

This is a dangerous development, but trust Nigerians to behave like it doesn’t concern them cus it’s not their property or they are not a member of the church.

I don't know why in Lagos State, with all the noise about it's development and growth, disobedience to court injections and ruling are very common.
I remember vividly the case of Boundary Market in Ajegunle, during the era of Tinubu as governor, while the matter was in court and there was an injunction, stopping the demolition of the market, yet it went down.
There are other cases, if properly searched. While demolish the church building when the matter is still in court and there was an injunction?
This is crazy and lack of respect for the judiciary. Should I even blame the local government officials, when our judges and our judicial system has been compromised.
This is what you get, when you sell yourself for a piece of meal. Our judicial system has lost its glory. If it were in the days of glory in the judicial branch, the local government officer or the chairman authorizing the demolition, when there was a subsisting court injection will be cooling their heels in the prison, with either fine or hard labour.

The chairman has interest in the land. It will get h him at least 400m profit. He wants parting gift before retirement

God bless you brother!I tired of people especially religious body coming online and cry victim card while they equally know what is right.Go to Lawanson many buildings required to be pulled down,the place stinks,no flowing drainage when rain falls the own place is flooded because someone has built along the drainage system,thereby impacting so many innocent lives negatively.Ask the occupant of the area,they will tell you proudly "I reside in Surulere"

Used to worship here during my childhood. My dad was able to coordinate the purchase of the land opposite this for the language church.

That's the same land that was demolished. Not the main church I think.
