I am certain no neutral predicted all these especially with Mbappe average performance in the Euros and Vini failing at the Copa. No one was calling Mbappe best player in the world when Spain with Yamal and others just won the Euros. The reality is Madrid underperformed this season just like City who were also considered favorite to win the league and go far in the champions league.

Xavi statement was Barcelona cannot compete against top teams when it comes to signing players. That's all.
No neutral predicted real will win laliga and at least make a deep run in the UCL? No p. Something that was everywhere on twitter, Reddit and even here lol no wahala. Madrid the underdog.

In the season Xavi was sacked, according to tier 1 sources for Barca....Motteto Matteo and ffpolo said that Xavi wanted to leave on his own accord. However, he was convinced to stay by Laporta and co which he agreed to. But after the statement below, he was sacked.

Flick signed Olmo(NEPA) in addition to what he(Xavi) had and won the league.

Xavi is a complainer and by the way you didn't answer my question. Between Xavi and Flick who will you recommend to coach your team.

PSG luckily won Liverpool
If that tie is replayed again PSG won't win
I wonder why a lot of people are worshipping them
Luckily ?how?
The statement should be reversed, Liverpool luckily won the first leg.
If PSG have striker in the first leg, Liverpool will chop nothing less than 3 to 4 goals.

You will need to point at where i asked Chelsea to spend heavy on Kolo Muani, to make the sense that you never made on this board.

But Raumdeuter, A40, Kimbeast and their group members said PSG don't need a potent striker to make the attack more lethal.

You be mumu.

Man City went unbeaten for 26 matches and along the line won the Ucl, with their striker being the highest goal scorer. That's impact. That's what i expect PSG to do without a striker before putting them up there. Not luckily pipping Liverpool on PK and got roasted by Aston Villa with their hearts in their mouths in the dying minutes, and only saved by the clock.

Any smart analyst will not be twerking for a team that was beaten and nearly knocked out by Aston Villa. i know Enrique will not be stupid not to replace Ramos with a potent finisher to upgrade the attack for next UCL.
You be certified m0ron. What special award did Man City get for going unbeaten?

They won treble, so did PSG. What did City win that PSG did not win? Okrimo

Only a crazeman like you will claim they beat Liverpool by luck, they are the only team that comprehensively dominated Liverpool in Europe this season.

Aston Villa is a solid team they beat us even with Harry Kane as striker. You have no point

How could they have gotten knocked out by Villa ehn odenson. PSG were far and away the better side on both legs and Villa did what any home team would do. Give the away team a scare.

They scored 38 goals this Champions league campaign and this clown is talking about attacking upgrade.

Gyokeres is not same level as Lautaro as we speak. If you are the Sporting sports director and you swap Lautaro with Gyokeres without any fund on it, you will be stoned with pebbles the next matchday for being foolish.

So in ur own opinion Gyokeres (that's farming Portuguese league) is slightly better than Lautaro, what of Osimehn and how does Gyokeres being slightly better than Lautaro affect my initial statement?

I will give him the last chance to improve. He is a squad player.
Noni Madueke has been at Chelsea as a first team player for three years now. He scored 5 goals the season before and 7 goals this just concluded season( with 3 of his 7 goals coming in the 6 goals trashing of Wolves earlier in the season).

He is currently on a run of 12 games without a goal or an assist, that's the player u want to remain at Chelsea. Even as bench fodder he simply isn't good enough. So much for calling yourself a True Blue

You are the crazeman here if you think they comprehensively dominated Liverpool with the stats below. Liverpool will be foolish if they don't buy a reliable striker for next season.

Absolutely spot on. It's why nobody on this thread or anywhere else in the world can convince me otherwise about what happened between Barcelona and Real Madrid.

People predicted a dominant Madrid season after their super cup win on this thread, some gave them the UCL already because they have the greatest coach in UCL history, supposed bdor winner Vini, Belingham and of course the icing on the cake Mbape(best player in the world). The season started and they got whooped by Barca and barely made the top 24 in UCL and the story changed to the worst Madrid in the last 10 years lol. So whenever Barca wins, it's the worst Madrid but when Madrid win, it's deserved lmao.

Flick worked miracles with literally the same players Xavi said won't be able to compete. With Xavi, they're not winning the league with Mabape on board, not happening.
Scroll back to when RM beat Atalanta on this same thread. Should be around August 2024. You'll see the ITKs I'm referring to who later switched mouths like Bobby Brown. You might find some of the 'neutrals' you're now being told never sang the high praises of this RM team. Remember- the same team that had just won the La Liga and UCL with a potential BdO in Vinicius & Jude Bellingham according to them. That same team now added Mbappé.

If there's any evidence of people waxing lyrical about City's chances this past season, I'll like someone to point me to the evidence. What signing excited the neutrals? What did City achieve the previous season that was going to motivate them to win all & how did City prove that was their focus?

It seems you failed logic in school.

You stated that Lautaro >= Gyokeres/Osimhen as quoted below:

StarchAndBanga:
Lautaro Martinez way better pass or same level as Osimehn and Gyokeres na 2 for 5 naira striker?
Then, how the fvck is Gyokeres now slightly better than Lautaro? Na olodo i just dey engage on a daily here. angry

Gordon has 6 league goals in 34 matches

Leao has 8 league goals in 34 matches

Yamal has 9 league goals in 35 matches.

Gakpo has 10 league goals in 35 matches

Madueke has 7 league goals in 32 matches.

I will give him one more season to improve in his decision making, maybe he will have more league goals than Gakpo, Yamal and Leao.

If they meet a team that parade tired legs in the midfield and an old/cancer survivor as defender, it is more than possible.

We are talking about their reaction to him, which shows they are his fans. They wouldn't have reacted that way to your calamitous Boathand. They wouldn't have called him to grace their screen not to talk of posing for picture with him.

Madueke scored 3 of those 7 goals in one game. That's 4 goals in 31 games.

That's why I was surprised when I saw you as part of the mentions on Maresca.

My position on Poch was that he didn't do a bad job considering the cards he was dealt. I also argued he had figured out his team during the 2nd half of the season and it reflected in the final position, general play and improvements across board. Cole Palmer's best performances were still under Poch. The team shifted from 12th to 6th and lost a final to Liverpool. To me, this was passable enough to give him another season with Lavia, Caicedo and all the other players Boehly threw more money at. I personally believe, CFC would've finished above City this past season (based on how things went) vs Maresca. I also think CFC would've beat City at the Etihad when we were god-level-awful. I also think your team would have played better. Lastly, given CFC were 2nd at some point, I wager Poch would've likely stayed there than drop to a fortunate 4th position.

But ....But.... grin

The people who at some point argued that it wouldn't have mattered if CFC finished lower than 6th this season (in their evaluation of Maresca) now want to latch unto his finishing higher to defend him. That's disingenuous when not laughable. They know themselves.
Sorry boss, we are not going to rewrite history. In the second half of the season, he had no pattern of football, he was poor at player management, he'd run his players into the ground with endless running, he lost to Liverpool kids in a final, playing no-direction and no-tactics clueless football, he'd lost 4-1 to Liverpool, 4-2 to Wolves.......and lost embarrassingly, 5-0 to Arsenal.

As a matter of fact, there was no single person on this board as at the embarrassing loss to Arsenal who was not anti-Poch. Everyone came to where I stood, and said Poch out.

Believe it or not, that was only 5 league games to go.

Why would there be a consensus on Poch-out, 5 games to go if he was figuring anything out? This guy even had his players (Caicedo) complaining that all they did was run. This was from Caicedo who likes to run. He'd figured nothing out.

He'd made his first tactical input in the game against Tottenham, abandoning fullback wing play, inverted Cucurella into midfield from LB, and played this way for the last 5 games where he won 5 on a bounce.

He was clueless until 5 games to go abeg.
