Shey na GTBank, I know their sms alert, I don't know what is wrong with them these days, I used to fight and defend them as being the best despite people view about them but they de fall hands since 2 years ago. I saw my own debit yesterday I didn't even bother reading it, I just saw #600 and another #700 in another sms, I just pass de go.
Well this new tariff maybe all banks shaa

Even me that did a notification o use only email alert my bank refused honouring that request...These banks can be funny, anything to generate income is welcome by them.

I use GTB and my SMS alert charge plus VAT for last month is just below N350. I move money out of the account to my mfb account to carry out small small transactions. If I was carrying out all my transactions with the GTB app ehn, I'd be getting charged over N1k for sms alert just like op
