Luckily ?how?
The statement should be reversed, Liverpool luckily won the first leg.
If PSG have striker in the first leg, Liverpool will chop nothing less than 3 to 4 goals.
Liverpool missed more big chances as you can See.On another day they score them and that is it.
To beat someone on penalties is luck

Noni Madueke has been at Chelsea as a first team player for three years now. He scored 5 goals the season before and 7 goals this just concluded season( with 3 of his 7 goals coming in the 6 goals trashing of Wolves earlier in the season).

He is currently on a run of 12 games without a goal or an assist, that's the player u want to remain at Chelsea. Even as bench fodder he simply isn't good enough. So much for calling yourself a True Blue
If Madueke remains in the team next season then the owners are not serious.

Man City were a more complete and impressive team, that's why they pull that record. This PSG haven't done anything monstrous to deserve you twerking massively for them. But if calamitous Boathand could excite you, ofcourse you would do a backflip for the Parisiens.

Do you think every season they will be lucky to play a 'striker-less' Arsenal and a jaded Inter? PSG will not be stupid to keep faith in the same team when they can obviously replace a redundant Ramos with a more potent striker.

A striker in MSN flourished, why won't a Gyokeres shine with Dembele and Kvara? Make una no dey chat shIt.
They have 2 strikers at the beginning of the season
Goncalo Ramos and kolo muani

None of them started the final

Airmark let's test your outscore theory in Serie A for a bit grin

Napoli won 24 matches, that means they outscored 24 teams, right? Guess what, Inter matched that stats by outscoring 24 teams also, even scoring 20 goals more in the process! cheesy

But Napoli ended up winning the scudetto. Why? Please, I want to know. Why did Napoli win the league when they did NOT outscore more teams than Inter, and when they did NOT score more goals than Inter, Atalanta, Milan and Lazio?

What did they do better to deserve to be crowned champions?

Come and teach an illiterate ooooo... I dey wait.

Capaldi, I'm not piling on you but Flick performed miracles this season.
Performed miracles with Pedri, Olmo, Ferran, Yamal, Curbasi, Fermin, Garcia that won the Euros and Olympic last summer plus having kounde, Balde, Lewandowski etc Performed miracles with Madrid having only rudiger as their senior center back fit this season plus losing Carvajal to an Acl with vibes and inshallah as coach. If Flick performed miracles then there are no words to describe what Conte and Slot did this season.

Seems we are serious about getting Gittens. Progressive carries and Successful Take-Ons he's in the 91 and 99 percentile so he's a very very good dribbler which is the only thing he's exceptional at.

But Raumdeuter, A40, Kimbeast and their group members said PSG don't need a potent striker to make the attack more lethal.
4 of the last champions league finals, the clubs that won it did not even have a potent striker who topped scorer chat.

A striker only does not win you champions league.

That's why I was surprised when I saw you as part of the mentions on Maresca.

My position on Poch was that he didn't do a bad job considering the cards he was dealt. I also argued he had figured out his team during the 2nd half of the season and it reflected in the final position, general play and improvements across board. Cole Palmer's best performances were still under Poch. The team shifted from 12th to 6th and lost a final to Liverpool. To me, this was passable enough to give him another season with Lavia, Caicedo and all the other players Boehly threw more money at. I personally believe, CFC would've finished above City this past season (based on how things went) vs Maresca. I also think CFC would've beat City at the Etihad when we were god-level-awful. I also think your team would have played better. Lastly, given CFC were 2nd at some point, I wager Poch would've likely stayed there than drop to a fortunate 4th position.

But ....But.... grin

The people who at some point argued that it wouldn't have mattered if CFC finished lower than 6th this season (in their evaluation of Maresca) now want to latch unto his finishing higher to defend him. That's disingenuous when not laughable. They know themselves.
There is nothing you will write about poch that will make me believe he was the right man.

Even Popizaino his staunch supporter who wanted him, when we were frowning. Surrendered after game week 3.

Napoli won the league with a single point on the final day of the season in a game they had to win, not a game they had to keep a clean sheet.

If Napoli had drawn 0-0, they would have lost the title. This was also a season where they won because everybody else under performed.

That's why Napoli's 59 goals are the lowest scored by a serie A champion in the last 20 years. Napoli had the 5th highest goal scored this season Meanwhile 8 of the last 10 serie A winners finished in top 3 from Goals scored.

Napoli were lucky this season. It was a one-off in the same ilk of the likes of Atletico Madrid. Historically even in the league that gave us Cattenacio, what Napoli did this year is far from the norm.

I don't mind getting him jare... Since we no know how long Mudryk will be out and Sancho may go back to United.

Let's take the IF game a notch higher a bit.... What IF Inter lost the last two matches and IF Napoli won't the last two matches, will it still be a single point they will win the league with? grin grin grin grin

We can even say that Napoli outscored their opponents in their wins, the argument is to outscore whether 1-0 or 5-4 they're making the argument for Airmark by referencing Napoli

Exactly, Napoli would have won the league as long as they won their match 100-99. However if they had relied on defence and kept a 0-0 they would have come 2nd.

Like this is such a simple concept to grasp to anybody except brother Timbros. It's not a coincidence that the club has been prioritising signing attackers over the last 2 seasons. I mean Betis game isnt even that far away.

Napoli could have actually lost the league if inter Milan outscored it's opponent in 37th game and didn't draw that game.

The league was in inter's hand and they threw it away with that draw.

You and your schoolboy logic. When does having a strong defense mean don't score goals. Some of you are impossible.

Or even the game against Napoli a few months where Napoli equalised against inter to draw 1-1 in the 87th minute, that's the 1 point they used to win.

Napoli had a very strong defense and an ok attack that scored 56goals and it was enough to win the league title. It ridicules airhead ridiculous notion.

You are stylish blaming Inter defense for losing the league title. They were winning Lazio 2:1 up until the 88th minute when Pedro scored. Infact conceding late goals has been a constant theme for them this season.

Late goals to Lazio, Milan twice (league and cup), Napoli, Monza, Genoa, Juventus.
