Saying A Man Is Less Spiritual Because He Tints His Hair Is Wrong by AdetoyeAyomikun(op): 10:17am On Jun 02, 2025
Saying a man is less spiritual because he tints his hair or does something similar is simply wrong.

Claiming that a person's salvation is invalid because he chooses to plait his hair is also incorrect.

The fact that a woman wears a tight skirt or reveals parts of her body does not mean she is not saved.

Believe me on this—salvation is far greater than what we perceive from someone’s appearance.

My name is Adetoye Ayomikun, and according to how I perceive things…

There are certain things I personally don’t like or consider necessary.

For example, when a lady wears leg chains—especially on both legs—I may personally believe that she is spiritually in chains, manifesting physically. 😂

If a woman is exposing her body while preaching the gospel, I won’t invalidate her salvation—but I might not pay attention to her message.

If a guy in Nigeria plaits his hair and wears earrings, I may not take him seriously either.

But again, this does not invalidate his salvation.

You might argue, “What if he’s from the United States or another country?”

Well, I believe culture plays a significant role in religion, and it often makes more sense that way. Some people don’t believe that, and that’s fine.

Tho Christianity is a religion, but it's counter-cultural.

My concern is the extremes—where we completely bypass culture and keep adopting things, saying, “It doesn’t matter.”

You keep telling us to wait for a wave of new believers who will wear crazy clothes, dress however they want, and still be used by God.

We do not doubt that—God said even stones can be used. Every vessel can be used.

But let’s not mistake decay for the move of God.

Sometimes, what we’re seeing is not revival, but a result of failed doctrine, a do-as-you-like Christianity, and a weak church foundation.

My name is Adetoye Ayomikun, and this is my iota:

Appearance does matter—to men, and to some extent, to God. But salvation truly comes from the heart, not from clothing.

You must not invalidate someone’s salvation based on your personal preferences.

However, if we allow the Holy Spirit to truly work in us from within, our outward appearance will gradually align with that inner transformation.

U are right thatPainting hair, dressing nvde, and all manner of carnal driven desires doesn't make a person's salvation invalid..
...but it definitely means they are less spiritual

because the simple fact is..the more consecrated you are....... the less carnal you will be....

It's like going to the club, every Friday....is it a sin?? Does it mean u are not born again..? Ofcourse not....but it shows u are more driven by the flesh than the spirit... It's not rocket science

According to the Bible a spiritual person is one who could walk up to anyone or house in his neighborhood to start a conversation with fellow neighbors about the GOOD NEWS of GOD'S KINGDOM.

Do you think any manner of dressing is OK for this assignment which God's son gave all his disciples? Matthew 10:11-13 undecided

I agree with you, that's why I made the last statement...

If we allow the HOLYGHOST to work his work, it will affect us outwardly
