APC keeps mentioning the increment of minimum wage to N70k as one of President Bola Tinubu's achievements.

That is bunkum. When the president took over power in 2023, fuel price was N187. Today, it is N850 to N900. In Nigeria, increase in fuel price, affects everything including transport and food prices.

Until fuel price comes down considerably, then the N70k minimum wage is useless and shouldn't be listed as one of the achievements of the president

Then may be the N70k should be reversed and let the N30k minimum wage continue

Sometimes I shiver at your comments. Are you seriously telling me this is what you intend to do for the entire four years of this wicked, draconian regime?

It is not a must to do salary work, learn a skill and be your own boss or go back to farming. The workforce that rely on government for feeding are many while we are not yet making kind of wealth America makes. Even if it gets increased to N1milllion minimum wage, people like you will still come back to complain. Employers can not make you rich, they can only give you money to feed your family. If you want to become rich, work out for yourself and by yourself. Join self entrepreneurial lane where Dangote, Elon Musk, Bill Gate,Google guys are

Sometime in 2024 I argued that Nigerians should focus on cutting down inflation rate Instead of demanding increment in minimum wage. Our problem is inflation, and historically we experience increased inflation rate on every increase in minimum wage.
