Significant flooding affected Nigeria last week, with more than 150 deaths reported so far. Heavy rain struck the north of the country on Wednesday night and continued into Thursday, leading to flooding along the Niger River, displacing thousands and destroying hundreds of homes. People that died in Mokwa Flood are more than 400. So many are still unaccounted for. Even this morning, corpse are still being pulled out of mud. Some have been washed away, never to be found again. Some already decomposing. It was an extermination of streets on the water way. A very Dark day in the History of Mokwa LGA, Niger State. May the departed Rest In absolute peace. |

This is a warning to all the states that connects to River Niger.Delta,Kogi,Anambra etc.Soludo of Anambra state should make sure that those living along the tributaries of river Niger and on lower grounds,should start moving to higher grounds,sooner or later Cameroon may have to free water from their notorious dam,this is to avoid stories that touches the heart. |
