I remember in the late 90s and early 2000s how instrumental this particular iron was to virtually all Nigerian households.

One thing I liked about it was how sweet and friendly it was in my hand when ironing my clothes and how it regulates itself. Its fun using this iron.
I don't know if we still have it in today's market.

Not true. But if it shocks, then you're the cause. There's probably a naked wire somewhere which u ignored.

By the way, all electric appliances shock as long as it has to do with electricity

And e dey burn house if u are the careless type. Not advisable to use in a house filled with little children so they are not tempted to go use it in the absence of their parents

U feel use am sotey u can convert it to charcoal iron just put am for stove make e hot use am dey iron your thing 😂😂

E get one eletric cooker then wey welder be dey build sell back then around 2003/04....that bastard shock me to the extent food they pour for ground....if u wan cook u go wear rubber for hand like Nepa people.....My papa wey no be electrician go come sit down run rubbish wire join am again then the shocking current go come increase....
The down part u fit put like dry meat or fish bcus na like oven the tin be......dem still dey do am till date sell for market..lol .....but i belive na my papa be dey allow that tin shock us bcause of him wrong connection.....lol

That is Philips pressing iron. I bought me one sometime back and I attest to its versatility.

Wow, we had this back then, in fact I used this Philip iron to learn how to iron, ours was non sticky, e no dey burn cloth. One of the very best and user friendly.
