They still call it a united Nigeria when in actual sense it's disunited Nigeria.

Nigeria were never meant or suppose to be a country.
United Nigeria bounded by crude oil but let everyone live in their regions grin

You that are educated and being ruled politically by someone you call less educated. What does that make you?
Is Trump more intelligent that Bill Gates?

See your life!!!

You guys just love embarrassing yourselves.

I just laugh at the foolishness from your likes.

MadamExcellency:
It is funny how ipob think they should be one to have say in Lagps instead of the indigineous Yoruba tribe.

We are discussing the Lagos State government, not the Yoruba regional government. What surprises me is that individuals who have no investment or presence in Lagos State believe they have a say in its affairs simply because they are Yoruba. Ask yourself: has your choice in Lagos matters put food on your table? Be wise and stop holding grudges against yourself.

And who are you to interfere in the affairs of Lagos, does Lagos share boundary with SE?

I love how there are now so many pressure groups standing up for the interest of the SW.

This became a necessity after late Pa Adebanjo and Dele Farotimi created a funny faction of Afenifere that people on X now call Ohanifere in a bid to hijack the real Afenifere.
With the Igbos, in particular, DomPerignon got it spot on with his observation below.

https://www.nairaland.com/8442156/yoruba-nationalism-rises-face-ibo

Igbo covetous, expansionist and usurping arrogance, tolerated over decades by Yorubas in the SW, is now being resisted with a wave of Yoruba nationalism the younger generation of Yorubas, especially those politically and societally conscious, are opening their eyes to.

It is becoming obvious to many that the Igbos are the other side of the coin of Fulani ethnic expansionist and imperialism.

Only difference is that Igbos are not pursuing their agenda with violence.

Ultimately, that makes no difference overall because the agenda of subjugating others in their ancestral land, after both leave their land in search of external domain to conquer, is evil and condemnable.

I'm glad to see the SE governors standing up for their people.

Unlike before, they're usually sleeping ducks.

Everybody's eyes are getting clearer now. At least let Hope Uzodinma do something right for once.
Who is now standing up for your people over the ongoing demolitions in Anambra, Enugu and other SE states?

They are a faceless envelope collecting group! That they decide to give you part of their loot doesn't confer any credence on them.
You can keep wailing.

Dem don use gaslighting and victim mentality finish you people. Are igbos the only tribe in Lagos. How come other tribes whose properties were affected are not saying LASG is after them

When Houses and properties were being demolished in the SE by Mbah, Soludo and Otti recently, nobody came out to say they were going after the contribution of igbos and other non indigene to those states. But else where, people are after the igbos LMAO.
To them, Efik o, Edo o, Ijaw o, Tiv o, Hausa o, Langtang o etc do not have anything in Lagos. They (igbos) are the only ones who have properties in Lagos. They even believe that Yorubas do not have anything in Lagos again .........delusional grandeur!

You people don't allow history to teach you. You still go around looking for trouble, pouncing on issues that has no concern to you. Yoruba is not a soft target for you to trample on or invade. My best advise for you is to stay away from Yoruba affairs and conduct a mass exodus to your region since you all desire a Biafra.

If they like, let them climb ladder join, the Lagos State government will do their job so that Lagos will stop smelling and getting flooded.

I remember posting something of this nature on that thread about Uzodinma leaving Imo State to form committee in Lagos State (in South West).. like the see finish don too much and our Yoruba leaders are not thinking atal.

That sends a very wrong signal to a young Yoruba child growing up, especially those with roots from Lagos.. how someone will cross river Niger, travel over 1,000 miles from his State to be giving terms and conditions in another State... ahh, that's bad and unacceptable TBH.

Nigeria is not a humongous geographical entity with no structure, boundaries and distinct cultures. That is why geopolitical zones were made clear for all to see. That is why States were created for everyone. Any attempt to use "one Nigeria" to appropriate other people's spaces would be met with extreme pushback.
